Ok. This report was well...I would like to say entertaining but I would be lying. The major issue I see is not the techinque in which you wrote it, I would have to say it was the fact that the game was lame. I read these reports to gain some insight into technique and strategy employed by some of the more insightful minds in the game (or demented and slightly disturbed minds see heartcutter and Vegas : ) ).
You chose to write a report about a gamne that was played between you and a friend of yours ( I find it hard to believe that you may indeed have a friend that would lower himself to alowing you to do a report on this. But for the sake of my tirade I will allow this indiscretion to pass )
Now a game played between mutual chums may be indeed entertaining,fun,a hoot and a holler. However, I would hardly agree that one set to allow mass units and special hero units is indictive of the overall theme of this site. |

Good god, I didn't realize. I was reading it fine for awhile, because I hadn't been on this computer for more than 2 minutes. But... I stopped partway because there appeared to be no strategy or purpose to the report. And the strings of letters was becoming annoying.
So, my basic thought here: This report was about some whacked- up rendition of BW that had nicely removed every trace of strategy there once was, with units so beefed up they could take 24 DAMN YAMATO GUNS!!! That was when I quit reading. It was clear that there was nothing here...
PS: I'm testing the hypothesis that I should say things that are downright mean, occasionally. Results pending... |
