Ouch. If you had noticed the enemy probe in your base it would have turned out much differently, but I guess while razing an enemies main it's easy to miss those things. =)

Mr Brock, I guess you are a bit mistaken
The cannons were built on the cliff above the mineral patch, so there was no probe in the base which could have been detected...
At least that is what I assume, knowing the map :-)
