I feel your pain, brother. What do you do when facing temps and archons?? You're screwed!
When it gets to that point I always go for darkswarm and cracklings, and hope that he doesn't have enough archons to mow down the zerglings. |

I guess I'll add some advice =)
What I would have done is use gaurdians. After two or three hydra attacks, I would have switched to an airforce, supported by queens with spawn broodling to wipe out temps. My gaurdians could have smashed his forces, and my devourers/mutas/scourge could have killed his airforce. Remeber to have a MIXED force 'cause otherwise they'll be much less effective.
I have the opposite problem as you: I often don't give strategies enough of a chance before switchin ;) |

| I understand what you're saying Dagomar, and that is sort of the ideal attack force, but this was vanilla sc so no devourers, and Garuds/Scourge/Mutas/Queens are probably almost the most gas intensive force in the game, and I was working with two geysers. I had a decent amount of mins, but not a huge surplus of gas. |
