| Why is this report only 5? It contained more details and thrills than most 8 plus out there. Does picture decide all ratings now days? |

|
| Actually, I didn't copy and paste. But..... Thanks for the input. |

|
| No, this is not that of an 8, but it is certainly not a 5. It's border line 6-7, but i'd give it a 6 because it's not really a 7. Try again, and write a little more detailed, and use the < PRE> tag in your HTML (No matter what, even if you don't use HTML) or else it won't count anything except 1 space, and forget about the return key! |
| #10 TheRubberDucky <FONT COLOR="Red">(BR.COM Admin)</font> (dfiatx100-044.dsl.gtei.n[14413] |
|
| Oh yeah, it may have contained alot of detail, but it wasn't properly done, and thus the rating suffered. |
| #11 TheRubberDucky (dfiatx100-044.dsl.gtei.net)[14420] |
|
| What I mean is that you put the detail into run-on sentances, like the one above. The < PRE> tag allows you to type text, and that is exactly how it will appear in final product. |

| Yes, this is me in a battle report. I was Tyderis. I did indeed get owned. I was indeed useless. |

Dah, having the word "but" 4 times in 1 sentence = bad=[

Nice report =]
You got most of the action in the game but I would have included a bit more detail on the actual battles. Some of the sentences were a bit run on, but nothing to really worry about, I could still follow the action.
Keep writing! |

This should have been me with AQD3, but I don't feel so bad since Shockwave is cool.
I called my ISP and BLASTED into them like Davy to his flute at Band Practice. There is a sales guy going to call me today about a DSL line or some heads is gonna roll. Call me YourRollModel... hehehe.
Grrrr! It get's worse every day. Aparently it's actually the addition of the DSL option that is bumping down bandwidth for the rest of their customers. They should be paying me for having to use their service this month.
I guess it's for the best. If my ISP didn't suck, it wouldn't allow for some of the fun stories that are going on... BUT IT WILL GET BETTER OR ELSE! |

Doh I was a dork, I spent most of the game apologizing for the poor play. Terran + zerg opponents == bunker at choke and tech, not wagon wheel my base. I had even asked AQD3 if he thought I should wall-off my ramp (aka Heartcutter anti-Toss style). I think I really need to make sure my brain is attached firmly to my head in future games :-). And in case it wasn't obvious, AQD3 basically carried the whole game whereas I only succeeded in a drop on Zerg main (where I didn't even have enough comsat to attack the burrowed drones once I landed) and irradiating a few muta/guards that tried to harass my natural. I can't even say that I provided moral support :-). GG Aqd3, your macro reminded me of Whoop :-) at some point: During final attack on Zerg, Terran brought in marines & tank to help his partner but had them near the ledge a bit aways from where we were attacking the main. I sieged my tank between his and AQD3's forces, hoping to force him to unsiege and move his tank forward (and hence get hit by my own tank fire) in order to protect his ally's base. I then told AQD3 to move his forces back to my tank. AQD3's response: "No, I'm in macro mode" and he promptly just drove in those 20 dragoons or so to take out the poor offending tank and marines.

| What is with the W I D E comments. |
| #18 shockwave (exchange1.sensable.com)[14456] |

| TT: It's because of the < PRE > comment above. When you use that HTML, it overrides everything else. So if I had a PRE'd comment that was 100000 characters wide, then this comments section would also be 100000 characters wide :-). |

I will say one thing for myself that game...
I betcha guys never saw so much use of Spawn Broodling and Ensnare. I used it in nearly every battle I fought.
I should have stuck with ground tech; used the gas I wasted on mutalisks and guardians to morph yet more queens and tech to defilers. Dark swarm would have been far more effective against the Terrans and the Dragoon-heavy protoss... I was able to broodling the templar enough to avoid the uglier storms. |
| #20 AQD3[14459] |
|
| Yes, Dev did have some good ensnare and broodling. I don't think the main thing you need to worry about is templar when I bring three control groups of dragoons and two templar to your base though =] |

There was one *critical* early-game broodling in the game. That was actually at my base. While AQD3 was getting high ground sieged, I was attempting to take out the siege by using dropship'd siege tanks. Given that i was still recovering economically, I only had one factory pumping tanks serially, so it took a while for me to build up. My first drop failed because I stupidly put the tank on low ground (again, brain-not-attached-to-head syndrome), but my second drop was supposed to contain 2 tanks. One got broodling'd RIGHT before the dropship picked it up. I mean, the dropship was right OVER the tank as the SB projectile hit it. I then had to proceed with just one tank and some marines, which was not enough to take out the opposing tank.
Grr.
To our opponents: I would have DEFINITELY taken out myself first instead of hitting my partner after the first attack. There was a HUGE lull between attacks, this allowed both of us to build back up a bit, then the first attack consisted of a dual marine/med + hydra drop. That would have been more than adequate to kick me out of the game, but it did minimal damage to AQD3 because of course he had lots of forces at his base due to his healthy economy. Later on, Zerg focused most of his attacks on trying to take out my SCV+turret combos at the ledge above my expansion. I wasn't quite sure why this was the case, there was nothing valuable up there anyway. However, I was able to kill a bunch of guardians and mutas with my science vessels. I definitely would have gone with hydras and just overran me by ground, the last thing I'd want to do against an irradiate-happy Terran player is build big slow expensive guardians :-).

| I liked the report - and loved the action! - Just have to say that the Fatal clan obviously knows its stuff! One thing - why does grammer matter - is this a school event? I think not! "they call him hussein fatal......" - Stad[Fatal] (prez of fatal) lanejohnston@hotmail.com |

| The purpose of using a written language is communication. There are certain standard rules to written language so that everyone can understand it, no matter where they learn it. So while this isn't exactly a graded event, it's more fun to read a battle report written according to the standard rules of grammar than one that isn't because it lets us understand it a lot easier. Not that the writer did a bad job... |
