Rather unethical way to win a game, having a spy in your midst and an observer chattering... what were player reactions?
Decent BR...a little stilted and confused in some points and not really the greatest game in the world to write about.

Maad props to Reznor. Not so maad props to Doom.....
Query: Why do people always maintain that double rushing is "gay"? It's a perfectly legitment tactic, and probably the most reasonable and tactically sound move in a 2v2, especially on a map like Hot Zone. Believe you me, Corsairs and D-Web are much more gay that a well-executed double...
Nice report, although the images were moved in to interesting places....

It's not that double rushing is gay, it's just that attacking your opponent at all throughout a game is pretty much gay....
I mean, why can't you just keep on expanding and mine out the whole map before attacking? It pisses me off having to build gateways and barracks before the 1hour mark....
Then there's wasting all that early game supply on zealots....
You should seriously mine out the map first, this way you can kill all your workers so you have more supply for military units.

Great BR, too bad a little cheating was involved.
Love the map though.
One question-Why didn't Reznor help out on the double rush-its a small map and lings could have saved Doom.

| There seems to be a bit of misconception.... first, Bob said that he was blaming himself for being distracted.... besides, most of what Doom was saying was little things you would know anyway (e.g. "attack his probes"), I don't recall anything about giving away much about forces. When I said "double rush is gay" I mean it's a cheap way to win, not an invalid way though ("gay != invalid"). I was surprised at Reznor, considering that the previous 2v2 turned 2v1 (because his partner dropped) he had lost, even though he controlled more of the map than both of us together, against me and Ice, (and we both suck, Ice hadn't even upgraded anything by the time I had 3/3 cracklings) |

Eh...I wasn't trying to implicate anything...Ioti is mostly right, in that the comments I saw were things like "attack his peon line" and "take out the pylon for all those stargates." Still, I'd have to imagine that without all the idle chatter, there would've been more concentration on the game from Bob and T.T. Reznor certainly wasn't engaging in any idle chatter...
The background got messed up. It's supposed to be under the report, and the default text is supposed to be a light grey. If any admins want to fix that, I'd be much obliged, as it makes the report look nicer. How do I do that correctly in the future?
Oh, and Reznor did send six lings on the double rush. They were slaughtered. I'm pretty sure I mentioned that in the report. He had another six on the way, but by then the damage was done, and he withdrew them for his own use. |

| P.S. The FPBR (First Person Battle Report) idea isn't gone. I just needed to test myself at a "normal" report, and make sure that I can do the graphics and things needed. Further FPBR's can now have graphics included in them...just not backgrounds, unless someone tells me how. |

| look, all doom dragon was saying was things like "go for the pylon", ask anyone who saw the game they made no difference. he never game me any info about the game. And with loti, bob even said, "this is my fault, i got distracted by loti" how is that lotis fault? bob thought he had won it so he didnt pay attention. anybody who thinks i would have lost if doom dragon or loti didnt "help me" is just wrong, you didnt see the game. |
