Clean, consice, well writen, suspensful... nice stylesheet, better font, good layout, good choice of pictures, no mistakes that I saw, enjoyable... There wasn't anything "groundbreaking" here perhaps, but I just couldn't find anything that I didn't like about it. |

Dref, it was a great report, I didn't mean add animated gifs BTW. I just compare this puppy to other 10.0's and feel it rocks enough for a 9, but I am not compelled to give it a 10. Hey 9's are hard to get! Maybe you'll get a 9.8 or something if everyone else gives you a 10.. dont know.

I really didn't think this quite deserved a 10.0, but if I gave it a 9.0 to start with... I dunno, I just thought it deserved a... 9+ and to get a 9+, someone has to give it a 10. I mean, it's perfect, but the difficulty of reporting a 1-1 on Temple doesn't quite get anyone a 10, even though there is absolutely nothing to find fault with about the report. I came close with that 2-2 on temple with the Canadians vs Californians.
Pitt... I was just kidding. You know how everyone gets on the Heartcutter bandwagon. I was playing it up as a joke. Heart's a basass and he'd beat my ass at any RTS game in an instant.

| I'm personally a fan of the white background, although the black does have it's place. My first report was on black and the black made the pics sooooo much busier. It's just a characteristic of the black. A white background simplifies it and makes the report less busy. That's my experience anyways. |

I'm cooler than Omni because when I beat Heart I did it without any of them stinking carriers. =]
Just so everyone knows, Heart has spent the last month playing AOK so don't think just because someone got lucky with him now that they are a bad ass. Go play him in AOK which I'm pretty sure he's switching too and come back and tell us what happened. |

Bah, mark, I never intended to try to be a bad ass, nor do I feel like one. Though lately I've been exceling with toss, orcmaniac knows all too well how I've been doing with the other two races, and it's not pretty ;-<. If anything I may no longer be able to call myself a random player and that's not something I like.
Furthermore, if the roles were switched and I were terran playing vs someone like you Mark, I'm certain I'd put up much less of a fight. Overall I'm well aware that I'm not quite a bad ass yet ;).
Oh yeah I think Mark kinda has a grudge against me cuz almost every game I'd try to play with him my isp would go bad, my comp would crash, or some anomoly causing a distortion in the time-space continuum would disrupt my connection ^_~..... |

Niiiice...I esp. liked the post-game comment section...& it's very true. Terrans cannot aford to let a toss expand, and Protoss need to hit terrans while the poor terrans are in Tranit.

| Great report, an easy read, a 9 i think. YRM, I se what your saying, but i think you shouldnt rate that way, otherwise it might get messed up. Oh, i agree with fractal, would it of been easy to start pumping goliaths, you already had 3 factories? And dont worry, heart is stil good, he gave me a solid beat down a couple of days ago, then again i was only playin like 80% maybe ill try agian to give his terran a good woopin. |

The weakness of Heartcutter's brand of Heavy Metal (tm) seems to be scouting. Losing track of what the toss is doing is a bad bad thing. By the time anyone can produce 4 carriers, you would hope to have noticed that it was coming.
But who am I to talk? I get surprised, and then owned, all the time. Sigh.

The reason Heartcutter didn't know the carriers existed is because
a: i had my troops in position so that no scout could get through
B: My two stargates were in an out of the way position so that a casual comsat wouldn't find them

| Omni's strategy was to spread out all his major buildings. This is a good strat against terran because it takes three or four comsats to figure out what is going in inside the toss base instead of one scan revealing all the major buildings. |

If he only had three factories and he's being overwhelmed by carriers & dragoons, especially when the protoss has three operational expansions to zero terran expansions, then building goliaths wouldn't have helped much imho. It's not like (probably non-range upgraded) goliaths popping out one or two at a time are all that godly when the enemy has 4 carriers over your base + more carriers + more dragoons on the way.

| You know what, vram, you're right. It's not like I won with any actual skill on my part.... It's amazing how people are so willing to criticize heart without having watched the game themselves, yet they don't even look at the fact that I actually played well myself. Whether it was a fluke or not I don't know, nor can anyone else really judge, but the fact is I DID win and if you wan't to demean it than I can play you myself and we'll see what happens. |
