(Blush) hrrm, I apologize for the androgeny of my name, and I'd like to clear up the confusion right now by stating that I am (*checks pants*) male. I really didn't mean to confuse anybody. It's the name of a Velvet Underground song (also alluded to in Final Fantasy VII); I liked the ring of it, hence it became one of my many aliases.
Also, the game that 1badassmarine observed me playing (too bad he didn't write a BR, I lost that one <G>) was on the same day as this one. I'm feeling a bit under the weather right now, and to speed myself back into good health, I've been drinking gallon after gallon of orange juice. OJ makes you pee a lot, and in fact I don't think I played a single uninterrupted game of Starcraft that day.
With that cleared up, good report and good game! I had tons of fun playing this one, and got a good laugh out of being referred to as "she". AP at any point could have turned the game into a lame-fest by forking to carriers or something, but instead decided to play SC the fun way -- by running straight in there breaking stuff. And ~Talon~ is right, the game might have had a different outcome if that last attack had been directed at my resources. Who knows? Point is, it was a close one.

| Yeah, so what's with all this stuff about how great aP tactics is? I mean, yeah, he's good, he put my balls on the anvil in that FFA that nobody reported, and he won it too, btw, but he didn't seem good enough to have every BRer on the planet saying "after trying to get someone to play ap who didn't get slaughtered by his SCVs, I settled for these crappy players' 2x2... enjoy!". Yeah, don't get me wrong, ap's really good and all.. but man, it just hurts when I see people glorifying and living vicariously through other people's starcraft accomplishments. Rather than kiss ass and worship, kick ass and dropship! umm.. That made no sense, but it rhymed.. |
