| You shouldn't write anymore BR's, the suspense you weave is more than my heart can handle. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time! What a battle! Back and forth, back and forth! Who would win!?!? I was totally shocked by the amazing, surprising finish! What a game, I wish i could have observed this masterpiece. And to think it probably lasted less than 15 mins. Usually an epic battle of this magnitude would take hours. You my friend are a genius. I will never read another BR again for none could ever match your work of art. I thank you for a truly memoriable moment in my life. NOT! |

Holy shit Sp|nE calm down. Please don't pretend to know everything, and never discourage a person to continue writing battle reports. I admit, the report wasn't that great, but you don't tell them to give up, you give them suggestions on how to improve.
That being said: You needed to describe the players' strategies and build orders better. I'd like to know why NewbieMcNasty actually muta rushed a toss player, I'm sure there was a good reason, but you have to tell us. Also, a few pics always help, although you don't need them to make a good report. Next time, try to be more descriptive.

| Evan the reason i flamed him is because not only did the quality of the writing suck, but his choice in games to br was poor. That game was completely one sided, and ur bro was obviously playing a chobo newbie supreme. Also, it probably took him less than an hour to write that. He had no attempt at pics or really anything to make it worthwhile to read. So why did he write it? Why should we have to read it? Frankly im tired of crappy brs, there is no reason people should get below 5's. And if you look at the comment below mine, his first sentance is exactly the same as what i wrote. |

I wouldn't go as far to say that this report sucked -- it just needs a little more meat on the bones. There's about as much meat on these bones as there are on mine. ;)
(And I stand 6'4" and weigh about 175...)
Hill.. add a little more detail and you'll do fine. If you can, a few battle shots will go a long ways as well. It's also usually a good idea to stay away from games that are obscenely one sided unless you're using it to point out new strategies or pointing out flaws/mistakes/etc. Basically if you can summarize your report down to one sentence (Newbie muta rushed and killed him, ow!), then think about what you want this report to accomplish.

I say HAR HAR!!! for no particular reason... I think spending any more than 30 mins on something like this is pointless. Games are fun... I suck at most, cept TF of course... I enjoyed the battle report... it filled me with glee and if you guys find it so damn sucky, then simply dont' read it! i liked the part where the prot guy didn't have enough pylons... stupid mistake. Always have plenty of Air & ground fighters as opposed to only air OR ground fighers. save them for more powerful attacks...
might not have happened if the reever drop had worked, that might have given Prot more time to build air defense...
