Good BR I really liked it, good detail. Do some purely observation games. That way you get a better view of the entire battle. Your style is really kick ass.
Anyone kare to explain this probe zelot deal to me??? I have seen it alot lately. And don't know what that extra 5 damage is worth compared to the minerals you could be gaining. |

After playing goofy grab first comment, I went ahead and read it.
I liked the style, and also liked the observations. But, like -BF-Teacher, I can't understand WTF the probes are doing attacking. If it's for extra bodies, I can maybe understand, but I can't comprehend it against the resource intake loss. Maybe I'm missing something. |

| Let me explain. A Zegling has 35 HP. A Zealot does 16 Damage to a Zerlging in 1 hit. Traditionally, (no uprades) it would take a Zealot 3 hits to kill a ling. A Probe does 5 Damage. So, a Zergling that takes a hit from a probe dies in 2 hits from a Zealot. Overall, I use this as a substitute for the +1 attack until I get it. Just don't let the probe die. I'm pretty sure those Zealots wouldn't have fared well without the Probes, thats how big a difference it makes. Most people use 3-4 Probes, but I don't like taking that many off minerals. I hope this answers your question. Tahnsk for reading. |

| lots of good ppl do that. That is why +1 upgraded zeals kick lings asses. Its a good early strat against zerg. |

| about that intial lurker atack by your opponent... he screwed that up imho. when I do a concerted zerg attack, I would balance about 3-5 lurks, 12 lings, and 8-12 hydras. send in the lings and the lurks at the same time, and have the lurkers bury in the enemy's face. Send in the hydras right behind everyone else. This keeps the defending forces distracted (killing the cannon fodder lings) while the lurks and hydras clear out the place. Obviously, the presence of templar(s) requires variations. Keeping the lurks BEHIND your forces though is not as beneficial as sending them in the front. Good report. Pictures didn't come out on my browser. <sigh> |

Liked the report. Storm rules. I can't tell you the numbers of times I have killed incoming guradian waves with this handy spell. Will try the probe trick with zealots. Good Tip.

Hmm, do you think his lurker tech was a good idea, in retrospect, against Toss? I usually say NO unless the Toss is clearly negligent (i.e. you can send lurkers into his mins line or do other sorts of damage where he has no cannons). But otherwise, if the Toss scouts and suspects I'm going lurkers, it's all over for me. Reavers, temps own lurkers. ESPECIALLY temps, I can't tell you the number of times I've been able to storm 5 or 6 lurkers to oblivion :-b because he didn't see that I had a temp.
Nice BR!

1st to .:..-. : He really didn't have enough time to get all that...maybe he did, but the fast that I went straight for the lurks before they could burrow in whatever position he wanted. Then I ran back the melee units and stormed the area. The Hydras were no problem after that.
2nd to AxeGrinder01: Yeah, storm owns. I just dont see how a toss could ever beat a good zerg without it. When doing the Probe/Zeal thing, remember this is only good to stop an early expansion. |

This may seem random, but bear with me you will be glad you did. On lost temple, if you are protoss, you start out with an overwhelming advantage, being the cannon.
This variation of the cheese push is very lethal and almost impossible to stop once started
2v2 you are toss, ally terran
works best vs 12:00
there is a strip of land next to cliff that nobody knows about. Build a pylon there, right next to the cliff, and a couble cannons lining the cliff. Have your terran ally send a SCV to build a racks there
fly the racks above the cliff and gain sight. Your cannons are now in range of the 12:00 vespian geyser. No gas = no long range, ur cannons are there to stay. Even better, your ally can land the rax and build marines to hit their peons. The rax and marines are protected by the lower cannons. Kick ass strat - you guys gotta try it out |

| Actually I didn't remember to hit it as many times as I wanted. I missed screens for 2 key parts, his Lurk attack and his Gaurd attack. The whole game I wasn't even sure if I was going to report on it or not. I got to watch a good game last night, and I'll probably have that done by mid-week. |
