What's the deal with wanting to get the coveted "9"? That was a good report, I like how you got the colors in there too. You might just want to double check your spelling; you misspelled words like "commotion" and another one I think. Overall I'd say that's a swell report.

Not a bad report at all... however, I think I would have enjoyed it more if there had been more action shots of battles. It sounded like there were some epic battles in there and since you were the observer, you should have been able to capture more of those shots. For example some of those expansion battles. You did have a pretty good shot of the battle in the middle though. :-)

| Um....I liked the BR but did Dinglebat ever made a templar or get storm???? I also don't understand why the wicked guy didn't start pushing him instead of just parking in the middle and he didn't really seem to be aggressive at expansion killing. |

| Nope, he didnt get a templar during the whole game to answer your question GhostLizard. I don't know why he didnt push forward, I think he was just trying to win by showing off, he was planning on just push on thrugh the whole expanse of lost temple and on into Dingbat's base, but he underestimated Dingbat i guess. I dont really know. I think that wicked lost his aggresiveness when he lost all his tanks and stuff in the middle. If your being serious 406 then if you'll remember the korean war, the greatest general of all time, Douglas MacArthur pushed the communists up to the 38th parallel but couldnt eliminate the red giant threat because our military started then and has since then being run by politicians rather than generals, We were trying to contain the commies instead of annihilate them. Go figure. I dont know how to make popup text either. |

I attempted to park my stuff in the middle once, but dingbat was smart enough to have his units there, prepared for the movement. I lack the heavy micro management necessary to set up a quick, efficient tank push right away in the middle and instead relay on slow pushing. Its true i wasn't being agressive enough with expansion killing; I feel that was my main mistake in the game. He didn't need temps cause he had gone mostly all goons, and he had a fuckload. As many tanks as I had, I still didnt have enough in position to kill the goons before they eliminated my center.
All in all, it was a good game with a few crucial errors on my part and an excellent job by dingbat.

I'm no rater, but I'll give you some hints about what I personally think makes a good report :-b. Don't take my word on it, but maybe you'll agree...
1) Choose your graphics shots wisely. If you're BR-ing as an observor, you should have opportunity to take TONS of screenshots. I'd include action shots that show something happening. The shot with the 3 marines, vulture, and SCV really doesn't add much to the report. Nor do most of the others. It seems like you added some screenshots just so you could say something cute in the caption... concentrate instead on including screenshots that actually help the reader understand the game.
2) I'd really cut down on the captions. It gets really tacky after a while. If you have something really clever to say, then stick in a caption. But the one with the dropship and the vulture is just...kinda extraneous.
3) I'd also cut down on swear words and semi-vulgarities unless it really adds to the post. I don't think you'd see many lines that say "lay those mines b*tch" in an i2e2 report.
4) Double-check your spelling. This takes only a few minutes if you have a spell-checker like Microsoft Word. But more importantly, double check your grammar and make sure everything makes sense.

5) Along those lines, stick to clean writing style and language. I think you try too hard to add "spice" to your report, but after a while it feels a little excessive.

Again, being witty is good and it makes the report more enjoyable to read, but don't overdo it because if you put just half-witty or trite phrases into the report, it just comes across as being less professional.
6) Try to keep out the derrogatory remarks as much as possible unless you really have a reason to do so (e.g. you have a personal vendetta against NTT for being a jerk while you were obs his game ;-) ). Consider: if you're making patronizing comments, then eventually nobody is going to want to let you obs and BR their game. Stick to just reporting the game, give the players the benefit of the doubt. Something that seemed like a stupid move may have had a purpose.
