| The reason you beat him for the wonder is the system of diminishing returns in AOK... For the first worker on a building you get 1/1 build time. OR full build time, for the next you get like he works like 1/2 as fast as the first one, so it takes 3/4 the time, the next only helps 1/3 as much so you when you get to 11 the 11th guy only boost the manpower by 1/11 of a worker, so his 20 extra just don't matter nearly as much as the fact that you started it way before him. |

| Did anybody else notice the godly background picture? If you scroll down, the palm trees also give the optical illusion as though it was also scrolling down, but in actuallity its scrolling up. This report should get a 10 just for that. =) |

10 Pikes + 15 Arblasts + 5 Longbow >> 25-some Frankish Cavilers.

Kinda weird, you see. The guy in the opposite corner of the map, with no recon whatsoever, avoids all the other plyrs and hits me. I was in the opposite corner. He had Bob and the other terran to deal with. Suspicious, or maybe I can't take a loss in FFA. Hmmmmm.
Then both terrans hit me with mass BCs, and alternate in the beatdown. Bob, then the other one. Rinse and repeat.
Voila! You have a dead GameOverZ! I guess it's all part of the 'Anti-Z' campaign lead by Mark and Bob.

Great Report!
I just got back from playing aok at my brother;s house. I liked it but I just hate having to play 3-4 per game. That gets old really quick. Plus I hate the no rush emphasis. I think it is cheesy that you can wall yourself in so easily. Now on the plus side. The units are cool, and so are the formations. I recently played a game and sent 150 elite skirmishers into an opponents base just to see how they would do. I took out 2 castles and the rest of his base. The best thin about pikeman and skirmishers are that they only cost wood and food. If you ever get low on gold I would suggest pumping them out. I have to buy it though I still think SC is better and I tend to play that more. My .02.

How did you take out 2 castles withonyl skirmishers, let alone an entire base? That's really wierd =]
Normally it takes either a treb or 4-5 rams to take down a castle, infantry just wont doo good coz it gets slaughtered by the arrows. Of course, skirmishers have the high pierce armour, which prolly helped a LITTLE |

It took anout 6minutes of game time to take down each castle now granted he didn't have any other untis helping his castles out. If he did I would have probably been plowed over. Granted if you have enough of them though they do a hell of a lot of damage. Plus I was losing a lot of them, but when you have 6 archery ranges pumping them out losing 10 or so ever 1 minute is not going to hurt you too much. BTW never do a light cavalier rush, they get hacked to pieces. Hope that helps.

If the enemy doesn't have siege weapons then just town center push into his base. Your longbowmen do pretty well shooting from inside towncenters, and you just pull them out and retreat to a nearby towncenter if it looks like he might take one down.
Good thing about this is that it only costs wood, and they repair and build way faster than castles. Plus they don't need murder holes. Oh yes, if the enemy is only using hand-to-hand troops then you can build some walls around your town centers to make them really hard to crack (this is a goof off tactic. :)
Actually Teutons are the best for doing this because you can do it in early castle age and put in skirkishers for a pretty lethal offense with huge range (Teuton town center bonus range & damage.)

| I think that anyone that uses any sorta o-building push is a idiot that is taking the fun out of the game. I also feel teh same thing about someone that takes out hordes of infantry in sc by building only templar, and floating them around in shuttles except when they are needed. |
