Very cool Battle Report, I enjoy FFA's more too. Not for getting strategies as much, although there are strategies you can get from FFA's. But FFA's are just more fun to read, IMHO. Love the pics, coulda probably used some before and after pics, like before the tank push, and then the battle during the tank push, and finally an after picture of who won (to show who won that certain battle) but tis still cool though. Good strong BR, with good writing and clear pics. I give ya an 8.5, but then of course I'm not a real rater, so my opinion isn't all that much. Hope to see more Exploding Ninja BR's though, this one was cool.

The big problem with the terran is in fighting containment. While they don't need to expand as much as the other races, they need to be open to kill expansions. In 1 on 1, early dragoon, dt, or lurker containment hurts them ALOT. In ffas, such things just cannot happen; you can't put that much pressure on one person and expect a win. The terran is free to tech and play, and turns into the powerhouse you see in these two ffa matches.
Besides, in both of these, the terran was left alone while the other players fought it out. Winning an ffa is as easy as being the last to fight (ok, not that easy, if the other players are watchful :P).
Anyway, VERY good reporting there. Normaly, pictures don't add to the br, but these helped out heavily. This goes heavily on showing how the terrans powerbuilt (loved the 'before, after' shot. After counting the tanks and seeing how many more could be built, I freaked :) ). You can easily feel how Mikey thinks about seeing those goliaths by his remark.
The best part about this was the fact that it could be read w/o the pics and be understood clearly. This very much deserved the 8, and perhaps more.
Btw, a question... the way you showed the reces just rocked, but why use an scv to show the terran, a wireframe drone for zerg and the actual adviser for the protoss? Why not use all three of the advisers (well... I have to admit, giant eyes just rock; I miss the overmind :( )? Didn't hurt or anything. I was just curious. |

Mikey: your play wasn't embarrassing, but you definitely did get caught in a couple of risky moves. =) Don't_Hurt, I didn't BR our games because I didn't BR anything before this BR. I'll say "BR" once more just to be annoying. BR. Barage, I used those particular pics because I'm lazy and they were handy with the screenshots I had open in Photoshop that moment. =) The SCV that represents the terrans actually was cropped from picture number 2, for example.
