Well, I made a choice: Dweb or Storm. I knew Curly would be using tanks, so Dweb it was. Storm would certainly have been nice to have as well, but because of just making enough stuff to hold on, I was too low on cash and time to get to storm :( It didn't occur to me until till too late why that nexus wasn't building, so that by the time I was ready for Observers, my robo fac was tanked. All in all, im not upset with how I played, Curly is just too much better than me.
Im hurt how much the 'good'' Doc bashed my forces after all the glowing reviews :(

Mmmm... work on the HTML a bit. You are aware that your report is completely unreadable in Netscape?
Personally, when I'm playing Protoss, I prefer to save my d-web until the tanks siege... then they have to go through the lengthy process of unsieging and moving and sieging again. At which point I throw another d-web. If you have a good supply of corsairs, you can basically force the tanks to stay in tank mode permanently, which reduces their effectiveness a hell of a lot. |

Don't get me wrong, what YRM did rocked. However, I realy do miss the bengalaas worship. The unit just rocks SC. Thanks for reminding me of it.
Also, it's pretty safe to say that it is VERY unrecommended to look at br.com with netscape; far too many of the reports use those evil IE only tags.
Also, I believe only one thing went wrong here; the zealot rush. Myself, I've seen too many terrans get help for the gods to rely on a z rush. If he teched first, then webs could've come earlier, meaning more webs and earlier 2nd branching. It's not like you'll be fearing a marine rush anyway ;). It's a minor think, though; the strat was unexpected and crewl.
Yup, I'm going on about the critters and game because the report rocked (I could just do 3 lines of text and say just that, but...well... the 1 person who knows me would believe that someone is faking my name)
Reading this report is like:
Smacking up a 1200 ladder player as a 900 player, and him NOT discing.
Reading br.com with netscape is like:

The easiest way to get the little moaning bastards to frag each other is to split your last two up, hotkey 1 to group 1 and the other to group 2. Now hit 2 twice (center on group 2), hit 1 and force attack on SCV 2, then quickly hit 1 again to center on SCV 1, hit 2 and make SCV 2 force attack 1. While the two are fighting (make sure they have equal HP when they charge each other) keep watching them to be cetain that their attacks are at exactly the same time. If they unsyncronise for any reason, then simply select them both and tell them to move somewhere. Repeat the charge as needed ;)
If all goes well, you'll have 0 SCVs. Yay.

This was one hell of an amusing report. Only bad part was reading it in Netscape (i'm at school =( ) and having to highlight the lines i wanted to read before i could read them. Napoleic not knowing that there were mines at most of the bases and expansions was hilarious. The first bunker placement by Curly was amusing too =)

| Ok, Ok. Time to clear up this little bunker thingy. It was their to protect my gas and before the first zealots came running in to my mineral line it looked like a good idea to me. But you learn the most from your mistakes so for future games I'm glad it happened. |

That report was great! Congratulations on you excellent writing.
Netscape is pretty bad for reading reports, (as well as just about anything else). Microsoft makes bad stuff, but most reasonable people would agree that <B>Internet Explorer</b> is WAY better than Netscape.
The Bengaalas was really cool.

[CAT]Willzzz: On Proving grounds their is no choke to be defended. There is 2 bridges into each main so a wall-in is the dumbest possible move you could make in the early game.
garett: making templar and corsairs is pretty tough to do with only 1 expansion. He had around 4 corsairs as well as 3-5 scouts and with the cost of the fleet beacon and storm going up another tech tree would be nearly impossible. |

| Mr. Merf: Well I can see where your coming from. Just after the 2nd or 3rd set of zealots got to my line I finished a set of depots to block off the path they were taking. Only problem was that I started my little blockade near my refinery instead of near the minerals. But in the end I had a complete wall around my minerals and refinery. |

On a map with no choke. I usually put a bunker right against my CC, either under it or over it. That way it's close to my SCVs. Then I usually put my bunker and maybe a depot against it. That way, fewer melee units can attack it at one time.
IMO, the farther your bunker is from your mineral line, the less use it has, thus taking up valuable supply.

| In this case that is definetly what I should have done. In a previous game on a map without a choke I was again hit by a fast zeo rush and I had my bunker near my CC but it was out of range of my refinery and the zeos just attacked that. So I was a little paranoid about protecting my gas supply. |

Curly, 2 can play at that game. Jump out of the bunker, shoot at the zealots until they chase you. Jump back in the bunker. Wash, rinse, repeat.
Seriously though, your best spot for your bunker is within range of the refinery and a good portion of the minerals. Of course it depends on the mineral placement of the map as to how possible this is...

| I love the BGH strats of the day! How about mass DA's, and only attacking with your opponent's units? Or how about covering the entire map in creep so Terrans can't build anything? I'm sure mining out the map would be good, if it could be done in less than 8 hours. At the rate those newbie's build, you could probably finish by the time they get their carrier fleet going. |
