One small point. 3/3 marines vs 3/3 hydras is the same as 0/0 marines vs 0/0 hydras. The reason is that the halving due to explosive damage on small unit occurs _after_ the armor has been removed. So it becomes ((10 + 3) - 3)/2 = 5, which is the same as 10/2.
I would guess that your 3/3 marines rule so much because you get them much earlier than the zerg has his 3/3 hydras, since you seem quite focussed on getting them.
Also, I would submit that upgraded ultras + darkswarm will give SVs + marines some trouble. At least I have trouble with it! |

Are you sure about the upgrade thing? Can you please give it a little bit of emperical testing? You're probably right, but I'd like to confirm it.
And I do generally go straight into 3/3 marines asap. If the opponent doesn't follow along with their offsetting upgrades, it gets ugly.

The irradiating off cliffs thing was nice, but I was suprised not to spot tanks up there too, defend your main, and attack at the same time! |

Hate to tell you this, but 3/3 Marines vs 3/3Hydras do beter than 0/0 vs 0/0. Armor is the last thing done. This was discussed ages ago on Shock's forum, and the general consensus was the following:
Damage=((Initail+Upgrades)*?Penalty)-Armor
Hence, 3/3 vs 3/3 is :
((10+3)*.5)-3=3.5 |

Not true. I did a little testing, with the help of the cheat code "something for nothing". Got all my units up to 3/3, and had a tank (in tank mode) shoot a marine. It did 18 points of damage. ((30+9)-3)*.5 = 18
If it had been your way ((30+9)*.5)-3 then it should have been 16.5 damage. |

i win about 60 % TvP and im only about 1100 ladder.
Heavy Metal rocks, and when u add deep six and wraith then bc rushing into your choice of strats, a toss can't compensate.
