I remember stuff about the zerg that i forgot (ie hatch takes control of the first 4, then ols take over). I just find it really cool

YAAAY! I've been waiting for this for quite some time. Elvencrystals, shut yo' mouth, know yo' role, and go read the Phoenix Legion Chronicles. "Good beginning..." my ass. ;-)
Just to resolve this for the slow people like me: in game terms, the Protoss basically mind controlled a drone and went off to start a Zerg colony, right? Mind controlling a hydralisk with the Lurker upgrade would then give that colony the Lurker upgrade as well, if I remember how MC works... so that would be why the cerebrate is pestering DD about it.
Good stuff, .Praetor; I look forward to the rest of this series. Anything that mentions Sarah Kerrigan gets a big 10 in my book. |

Sp|ne: Isn't it though? But I wouldn't elaborate that much if this were a real game or something. The starts are Zerg: 6:00, the Terrans just to the left of them, and the Protoss on the lower island expansion (not a start on the normal map).
Talon: I know what you mean. Some of the more stream-of-conciousness-ish parts I like, some of the other stuff seems out of place, but necessary.
SuperGeneral2: I did ask what's his name if I could use his ideas on Zerg awhile back after I read By the Clicking of his Claws.
Baxter: Glad you're enjoying it =). The Protoss haven't mind-controlled anything yet. They basically threatened and coerced an emotionally-unstable Cerebrate to help them. The Cerebrate wants a lurker or drone from a Brood that can make lurkers because the genetics for that got screwy, since he only made it away with one drone. It's more complicated, but I don't want to take up even more space in the comments section =). |

Warphead: and you wouldn't be? Seriously, if StarCraft was RL, I'd 4-pool. Mainly because the other player isn't necessarily going to start with four drones just the same as you.
PeonSanders: Heck, I don't pay attention to the ratings. I once let the 10's get to my head, but that stopped once I screwed up enough to realize they don't mean much. Now, I say honestly I've never gotten a 10 on a Battlereport.
I'll just mention one other thing: Blizzard isn't very consistent with the Zerg Blizzard conceptualized. Same with Terran. Protoss is more of an argument.

Wow, it's surprising to find myself not being able to remember the name of the story that had kept me up for hours... I guess writing 40 page physical chemistry lab report does that to you... especially if you try to write the whole damn thing on the day before it is due.
