| Ah... the problem was you didn't click "Disable BR Tags" when you submitted it. Therefore your OBJECT tags that embed the shockwave into the page had <br> tags in it messing it up. |

| Hmm, awesome use of shockwave, but if I'm rating it BR-wise I cant give it more than a 7. Basically all the images where too small and hard to distinguish what was going on. Also it was a bit on the shortside in terms of writing. But hey thanks for the unique use of shockwave, really cool! |

From a technical standpoint, this is a beautiful piece of work. A bit sparse on the writing, though by no means bad on that account. All in all, I like it a lot.
The zooming screenshots are neat, but they're kind of annoying, because you can't get more than a brief look at them before they go zooming away again. This is especially irritating when you're depending on the screenshot in question to tell you the outcome of a battle. Maybe you could have them zoom in and just stay?
And, as others have commented, it'd be nice to hear more detail on the battles.

i think it's damn cool, defenitely a nice change! it took 54352 hours to load and now there are sparks coming out of my modem but it was worth it.

hehe, nice try but people here generally appreciate smaller sized (download wise) unless they see a good rating or have a fast modem, or know that the reporter has done a good job before.
BTw, the bcak button was messed up on some of the pages, and don't do the alphaing in, because it just plain looks stupid loading a page w/ 2 small pictures on it, without any text. And the pictures were way to small, check back to my report I used max 1 pic per page, and I traced them all w/ flash 4, so they were vector graphics not bitmaps.
Other than that, good report, try again, I know these things are a pain in the ass to compile without making thousands of errors (Mine did, and I still can't get it to completely work =[ ) |

Nice use of shockwave. I also agree with the other comments about the readability of the report, though. Zooming in on the pics is nice, but it takes some amount of work. I wonder if there is a better alternative. I think enjoyment of this report depends on what your attitude toward BRs is:
Some people just read BRs to learn about the games and thus the most important thing is not the layout/coolness but rather the effectiveness of the presentation.
Others like the artistry & design in BRs and appreciate really cool looking reports even if the games reported or the communication weren't stellar.
I enjoy both types, and this falls into the latter, and I think you did a great job :-). |
