Escape-Velocity rules!
A long time ago like 2 years ago i had a great file in that game.
i had a Kestrel with almost everything maxed(ran out of room cause of the damn super bombs and the thing where you lunch iterceptors which i loved cause those x-wing looking things ruled)Anyways i had owned all the planet in that galazy except for the moon and Earth!
never seemed to be able to beat them i never died but they had endless ship i spent an hour one day try to kill them!
anyways if i had a mac i would definitly get it but i don't

Last year at school we had Macs, and I found their one redeeming feature to be Escape Velocity 2. I did about everything on there that one could do with the shareware verison, and always thought that multiplayer would be good. By the time I graduated, I'd finished every mission there was (including the one where you save the little fuzzy guys), purchased myself a UE Cruiser (after rescuing Anna so she could design the thing... that took me weeks), and then set out to capture as many warships as I could. I think my preferred combo was 3 Igadzra Warships, and 3 Crescent Warships. Every battle I fought was begun by the firing of eighteen SAD modules (three from each ship), followed by the deployment of 9 Crescent fighters, and eventually the 3 Igadzras getting into range and pelting my foe with 15 phase cannons.
I also went the Voinian Traitor route and got all the way up to the Voinian Cruiser, or whatever that badass thing is that you can't kill. Didn't think it was quite as fun.
Thus ends my contribution to the discussion on EV. |

Bax: you were playing "Escape Velocity overide", the sequle to EV, i don't like that one as much, no enough plug-ins. =)
