I eat a block of cheese a week to help me build muscles.

About the report, I liked it. Pics would have helped. Very fresh.

hmm, no pics. ACK.. =]

well, you are one example why a BRing a game that you play is not go great an idea to get a high score.. why? cause you rarely get any information on what the opponent is up to until they attack..

you won't get their initial builds, (therefore lose what units they are going for in the beginning), don't know where they expanded, don't know where they have what...and overall, you don't know what they are doing, period.

in your BR, it actually sounds like a close game, but in reality, i believe it was a beat down.. (sorry =[ )

the text wasn't bad, but cause of the problems mentioned above, i give it a 7

7 = fair...

p.s-what's up with the center alignment? wierd...

In general I find the BRs where you were a player to be sketchy. Its hard enough BRing when thats all you have to do, if you try to do both at once its ok. Occasionally someone plays a spectacular game and the BR reflects the great tension and emotion they felt, this isnt one such case.
The center text really hurt the BR as well, it just screws up the organization, and the Recipe thing wasnt neccesary - or original... we already have a chef heh...
I would give it a 6 (as if anyone cares)

My first comment has to be onthe strange paragraph spacing you have during your report. It's quite unnecessary to have 4-5 line spacing between each. All this make it do is look terrible on monitors (Since you'll have 2 lines, then spacing, then another 2 lines, etc.). I use a 800x600 resolution; I'd hate to see this on a higher one.

The report itself was fairly decent, although I must say it was a bit too brief on some parts, probably because you were a player in the game :)

I would give this a 6; it isn't a bad report, but it's flawed too much to give it a 7.

Well you fixed the spacing and that's good. But it just brought to my attention that everything was centered. I doesn't look good I am afraid. Also the way you wrote it. The style it was written in was rather boring. I wasn't really on edge. I want to be able to see the game in my head(if there is no pictures) But this BR I was so bored I had to go back and see what map it was to try to imagine it correctly.

You have potential. I can tell by your writing that if you just practiced and applied yourself you would do much better. Remember all text reports must be entertaining, some BR's have pretty pics and the writing lacks. But people like them. But an all text, if it isn't interesting after 2 paragraphs then people will stop reading them. I have. Try to include as much details as possible since we have to paint our own pictures. Keep it up, you can do much better then a

Definitely a 6 here. Writing doesn't really describe what's going on. Put a little more detail. Pictures would be nice as well.

Hmm, that green on white hurts my eyes. (owch!) The font was a little to big but otherwise, good report.

wow, look what mark4 has done ... by just posting a little paragraph, he has turned the comment section, into a ratesection :-) and all this time people thought posting on the forum would help get raters to comment, but indeed all that was needed was the few words of mark4.

writing a BR from a game you played can only be done by ::nobody:: hehe, and pics help, go read ::nobody::s reports to see how to improve.

also, where the hell is the chili ???

nice report, but as said many times before, in this comment section, and in others, good pics boost ratings, and being an observer and not playing helps to allow for detail and better pics.

so:
- more detail (imperative)
- pics !! (optional)
- BR a fresh game (better for detail)
- be an observer (better for pics, and detail)

oh well, this was a way better text only report than mark4's ... :-)

Well, A few suggestions, but also a few compliments :D

First of all, the center align thing tends to annoy people :P Before i used the name ::nobody::, i submitted a report with center align and everyone threw a fit...i dont see the problem so much, but it is a tad harder to read.

Also, more detail is a good idea, but especially at the end. I thought that the rest of the BR wasn't too bad to follow, but the end was very abrupt. You had me going, then just stopped :P

You refer to color (yellow, and redish blue i think) without letting us know the color ahead of time. Im a big fan of color-coding the names, but at least let us know the races and colors of all players at the beginning.

I did like the sections with the titles, it made it easier to read and follow. Also, refering to yourself in the 3rd person was kinda annoying at first, but then i got used to it, and actually kinda liked it. I see great potential, so keep writing and just spend a *little* more time on it.

I say its gold quality tho, nothing lame about it ;)

Glarb... I find it really hard to write a good BR of a game that I observed. If I played, however, it's a completely different story: The game is so easy to recall and organise that I just write from start to finish, go over it again and re-organise for humor and that's it.

/me wishes he would remember to take screenshots in a game...
