Let's see... a terran lets a toss expande three times while only expanding once and wipes the floor with him... and you guys complain Mark4 BRs one-sided games??
Besides This guy was sooo Cid-biased it wasn't even funny. Saying things like "somehow he manages to defeat Cid's army" and Discussing Peons's lack of skill after he takes out a supply depot only.
Oh well. Apart from that the pictures and layout was nice but his tone was such that it seemed tooo easy for Cid.

Good report...but I didn't like the bold font very much and the HTML work was a little screwy. I think it did seem like you were favoring CiD a lot during the game, but that doesn't really take away from the final rating of the BR.

Well, a pretty one-sided report, but like I said in the forum a while ago, it's the quality of the report that matters more than that of the game. Also, I'm not sure WTF a Toss with that many expansions did to lose to a Terran with only 2, but he managed somehow. Oh yeah, in the pic where CiD has three groups of Marines and a few Tanks, it looked like somebody might have forgotten to make Medics. I was wondering a bit about that. But anyways:
-Somewhat one-sided game
-A little confusing
-Some favoritism to CiD
+Mostly good writing
+Well-done pics

<font color=yellow>Maniac, I know negative criticism from your comments section can be hard to take, but you get used to it after a while. Just keep in mind it's nothing personal against you, only people's opinions at how to perfect your report.
I would like to say that this is excellent for only your second report (your first was text only, unformatted, and far too abridged).
Your report looks much better, and you did get more details in. not to mention you figured out how to get pictures in effectively.
You are good at this and can definately get better, hope to see some more reports from you soon.

was because he didnt need it
i through down 5 rax right after i took my third exp and pumped hard... caught him by surprise i think.. after i ruined all his expos he finally got some temps which were irridiated but anyway.. that was a hella good game and props to maniac for bring it.. btw, he said
"managed to defeat cid's army" because i had 4 times as many units but 1 dt slaughtered like 20 mairnes wheni wasnt looking because the game got interrupted by lag

good layout, nice pictures, bit of lame humor, no bloody pictures of storm =], no destructive pictures of nukes (i love those), and a match that didnt seem VERY 1-sided if u thought about it. it was a hard win with the economic disadvantage and the map control. nothin better than a terran losin to a toss (i prefer metal more, and my preference goes to tanks/wraiths more than vults/tanks). i have thought up of a newer HM of using 2 rax, then 2 facs. its safer.

This was a great report. Terran even though outresourced came back to win. He even used large amounts of infantry. Nice layout and writing. You had great details and the minimaps really helped out. Keep it up!

Decent report
I think the reason people think it was one sided is you summed up how the Terran wiped out the toss's expansions and mains at the end in only two or three sentences. Add more detail and your reports will shine.

It really did seem one sided... Until CiD attacked.
I'd say the report was good right up to that line. Then, all of a sudden, Peons, who looked like he should run over CiD any minute, suddenly gets wiped out. I know I ain't a great player, but the ending (short as it was) surprised me, to say the least.
Too bad, 'cause I really would have liked to see how that HM switch to MMF played out. It's an interesting concept. |

Look at the after-game stats. Toss didn't outresourced Terran that much. Only 10% difference! Who cares if you have 4 expansions, when you have only 10 probes at each? It's no wonder Toss lost - Toss played sucky. This wasn't GG at all.
