| The key to winning with terran is comsat. You have to know what the other guy is doing, and then counter effectively. Also it helps to play maps with good choke points or a ramp. |

You need to learn to play Terrans a bit more that's all. For example, Vs the Toss opponent who reaver dropped you, could easily have been stopped in 2 days.
You could either have pushed into his base if he was teching early, or just set a tank + bunker by ur command centre for if and when the drop landed.
Terrans need some experience to play well, so don't go bagging on them because you are unable to play them well. |

| Mr. Random, I've been playing terran only for lets see.....more then 2 months and I win A LOT of terran/terran battles and don't give me that "game's balanced" BS. I have yet to see a terran beat a good toss player. Just look at the site, how many BRs are here of terran beating toss, maybe 15 or so out of 250+, but of course the game's "balanced":) |

| I only do 1 game, 2 max series cuz I'm busy. You know, there are a whole lotta terran nuts out there who want to kick my ass and publicly humiliate me:) Of course such a thing would never happen, it could if I carrier rush though:0 Btw, carrier rushing is the funniest thing, I did that in 2 stratight games vs terran just to see if I would lose, and i did YAY. Althought that carrier that I had by the time M&Ms came knocking did get 30 kills:) |

| In none of these games did you even mention recon of any kind. Obviously you're going to die if you don't know what your opponent is doing. Oh, but that must be a problem of the race, not the player. You died to 12 zerglings in the last game! No bunker? No attacking with your SCV's? Come on man, if you don't expect a zergling rush on Blood Bath then I question how long you've played this game. Look in the mirror before you blame everything except yourself for your losses. |

How many 1v1's vs Protoss have I won?? Well I'm 27-19, but Bnet booted me about 7-9 times, and I've been disc'ed on about 10 times, so I would say I am effectively 37-12 on ladder as terrans. Most of those games were against protoss players as well.
Look me up for some 1v1 Protoss(can't type your name). Last ladder game I played a 1128 protoss and won, I countered everything he did while starving him. |

| From the sound of your games, you had no recon whatsoever, and THAT, my friend, is crucial to a game, no matter what race you are. Plus, it seemed to me your strategy never varied at all. Just go for M&M blindly, even though it might not work. Obviously your two opponents took advantage of your steadfast strat, when you had no idea what they were going for. And the mine containment thing? It will only work if you're really good at it, and your opponent isn't that good. (Sorry Johnny, it's true.) I'd gladly sacrifice a ling or a speedy zealot in order to get rid of all those mines. :) |

| I'm a zerg man, so I know first hand, archons rock everything zerg except for mass hydras and guards on cliffs, and psi storm will take care of both of those. |

I think people are more worried about winning and losing then having fun and playing an ejoyable game. Everyone loses... it's what you learn from it and take into your next match. I've just started playing a lot more terran lately and it's a handful to play well (it's not something you can play every once in a while and master [unlike zerg or toss]).
Forget your record, play with people you enjoy and if you don't like terran play one of the other races. No one is goind to 'dis you for it.
Hey JV... when are you normally on? I'ld like to give you a rematch so you can kick my sorry butt. 8^)

Oh man ppl are taking this way out of proportion. Yes in my opinion In TvP toss have the edge but its not like many ppl make it. I challenge any toss vs my terran land or island i dont care. They are many good players with terran btw. Im currently 1218(14-4) If terran were THAT bad i could never have done that uh? Terran own you >:[

| Honestly, I think you need more recon. If terrans know what's coming, they can counter it very effectively. Just u try templar on a terran who's good with recon, and his SVs are gonna give your temps a nice suntan before they get 75 energy. I won't even talk about how much tanks, mines or ghosts suck when applied correctly(too difficult for me, I have to admit). Terrans have fantastic units. Only they are so inversatile. |

OMG! I've played toss and lost to Terran many, many times! When you think about Starcraft, the balance is really like this, and don't worry, because I'll explain.
Terran beats protoss because most protoss units are heavy armor types, and tanks and goliaths do full damage to those units.
Protoss beats up on zerg because reavers, and psi storm rape the mostly umicro-ed swarms
Finally, the Zerg beat the Terran (Well, it was a lot more evident before Charon Boosters.) because of broodlings against tanks, lurkers against M&Ms, and guardians against goliahts and m&Ms.
Sure, this isn't a set in stone balance,but when you think about it, it kinda makes sense...

Toss>terran because zealots kill the mechs, and infantry, while corsairs take out air.
Terran>zerg because m&m + tank push kills zerg, and bcs own zerg
Zerg>toss because guardians kill all ground and lings seem to rape.
exception for zerg owning toss: psionic storm and zealots. |
