One word: This was excellent.
Another thing I loved about it...Winter Conquest is one of my fav maps. I don't see why some people hate the snow tileset, maybe it makes their beady eyes squint? heh heh.
Excellent report, I hope my first BR compares to this.
Definetly an 8-9. Good show. (But not a jolly good show). =]

| I've only played Winter Conquest once, but it was a 5 player free for all.. and even If I accidently dropped well into it, it was still a cool map:) Even if I didn't know about the middle expansions. |

Nice job on the BR. :)
Basically, what I was doing with the mines was trying to mess with Sunzi's concentration, and force him to concentrate on the mines I was laying around the map, rather than managing his attacks. I should have expanded a lot earlier, but Sunzi had a subtle goon-containment going on me, made it hard for me to claim new areas. GG though. |

GW, i liked it more than your first. wrinting was nice, pics did their job, humor was decent. The only thing you need to change is find a better game. Both your reports have been pretty one sided, but with a nice game, you definatley have high 9/10 potential.

Nice BR, but one minor beef... that little talk with the two dragoons was ripped almost word for word from my latest report....
Here's mine:
The attackers decide that they must have a plan to follow. With only 7 fighting units total, and an unknown amount in [TA]SlayerJu's base, they must make every unit count. After a few moments of drawing diagrams and schematics of expected protoss base configurations, the attack force prepares to move. The marines are to advance in a leap frog formation, with 1 group of marines giving support fire while the other moves forward. The zealots are to remain unseen until opponent zealots have been drawn out of defensive positions, and then engage. In case of cannons, the zealots are to absorb damage, and make the cannons switch targets by 'dancing' in case their shields run out. If probes are brought forward for combat, the marines will fall back if engaged, and the zealots will hold them in order for the terran infantry to get free hits. A flawless set of contingencies and orders.
Terran High Commander: Soldiers, are you in understanding of the plan?
Zealot: Yes, of course.
Marine: Let's go rough those rogue protoss up.
(Pause)
Another Marine: You know, how about if we scrap the plan and just charge in in single file and keep attacking until the enemy is dead, and just let everyone shoot at whatever they want?
(Pause)
Terran High Commander: Good idea! Make it so!
Here's yours:
Saravis: Alright now, Klargen. Praetor Sunzi says he has calculated the perfect plan for us in attacking the Terran base.
Klargen: Oh yeah? What's that?
Saravis: We will attack in a split flank formation, me on the left, you on the right. If one of us is attacked, we will execute a phalanx pull and join our 2 sides, thus trapping the attackers in the middle. If there is no resistance within the base for the first 300 feet, we will attack in a leap frog formation, one of us staying in front of the other, gradually proceeding into the base. If resistance shows up, the one in the back will execute the ultra-secret Goon Dance, and quickly dash to the back side of the enemies.
Klargen: How about we just attack the damn guys?
Saravis: I like your style, Klargen! Let's go!

To Comment #17: Try writing a decent BR and not caring about whether or not people jack your ideas.
And To Anyone (Especially #17): If you give a worthless flame, at least show your real name, and not just put 'u suck' or whatever. Don't be a spineless bastard. And by the way, it's a helluva lot more work to write a good BR than it is to read it. Fellow authors understand this, but I'm afraid little mister 'fu and your family' does not.

| I liked your first report more than this one only because the Terrans won :) Me like Terrans and Terrans like me. God I wish Medics had nuclear capabilities. Hmmmmmmmmmmm......... it was an alright report. -3 Copying Cynical enough that... well.. it looked obvious. +2 for Thanatoz dying Zerg vs Terran in the first game. I hate that match up too Than :o) That's why I want a rematch some day. D-Hawk, it's not important to write about really good players. If it was, then we'd all follow the really really good players around, and you'd have about as much chance as.... me of ever getting into a report since only the really fantastic players would be reported.
