Well, I am normally not much of a fan of , er, 'fan fic' but I actually read this with intent.
It drew me in before I knew it and now I am pissed I have to wait to see what happens.
That is good.
Looked like a few typos and what not, but I was able to read through it well and I liked what I read.

All this input is awesome. Thanks to everyone who likes it, and kudos to those of you who tell me straight what needs improvement.
In all honesty, I made one BIG mistake in posting this sucka when I did : I didn't give myself the happy lil' grace period after finishing. You know the one. That time in which you shut off the comp, go to bed, get up the next morn and look the whole thing over again, almost damn sure certain there'll be about 80000002 mistakes slapping you in the nuts that didn't stick out up on earlier.
Ah well. The next installment (coming very soon, and sorry to all y'all that hate this chapter shit but I've already dubbed it a trilogy so my hands are tied) will be better proofed ... not just a cursory spell check so I totally maul the spelling of "Shed". |

I wanna smack myself for that line. Not only does it sport the dreaded 'gaygay double period', I doubt I could've crammed any more references to settling dust in there without lubing something up.

Pretty good overall, except it was too short. Only mistake that really stood out for me was "slick, unshaven faces"
I dont know why but that really stood out, It should've been "rough, unshaven faces", but thats to small to take anything away from your overall rating.
