My god, you're getting better each time. You're definitely my favourite 'new' author. I really like your imaging, and although I think the spotlight effect shouldn't be used in pictures where there is stuff happening in the whole shot, and only 1 place is highlighted, it's definitely not a big deal. I like the atmosphere it gives your BR's, very dark. Also, the side comments and details, like the hostile SCV are nice. Very few people can take good screens while playing at the same time, but you're pulling it off very well. There was really only one big error that I saw in your writing, and that was the word brake instead of break. But hell, even if english isn't your first language, you write better than a lot of other reporters. All in all, this was an excellent BR, and I think that the extra effort you put into this one was/is VERY worth the while, and I'm itching to see your next production.

Very very nice. Man, and on top of that, winning a TvP, that's just downright amazing. It seemed like you were about to eat the loss at various points of the game (such as when you lost your natural).
TvP is near impossible to win these days. If I see no early goons, I rush like a madman to mines and try to contain him at his choke. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. You have to have really good vulture micro and it also doesn't hurt to lay a set of mines at your choke, or at some halfway point, when you're enroute to his base with your initial vultures, in case they fail to make the containment. It's always a shame to lose vultures before they've laid all their mines.
From there, I get my natural, fortify both with tank/turret/bunker, and start cranking tank/vulture/goliaths like there's no tomorrow. It's nice too to get dropships ASAP to kill expansions as they come online.

Excellent report. I think last time I said that you should try and report games where you're not playing. Well, I really don't think that's necessary. You seem to have an amazing talent for playing well <i>and</i> taking nice screenshots. Like the others, I think your lighting effects are really cool.
As for the map, well, my last report got good ratings and it was on lost temple. Although if every single one of your reports is on lost temple, that might get kinda boring.
Anyway, you really produce these things amazingly quickly. I'm impressed.

Actually, to be honest, i'm on the non-collage side of BRing for 2 reasons:
-I am a poor son of a bitch and do not have a kick azz pic editor.
-And i personally feel that collages, while majestic and pretty and all, set apart from the report. My idea of a good collage is one that is so well putogether, that you dont have to read anything, you can just look at the pics and get it. But hell i don't do all that writing for nothing, so im all like GO TEXT WRAPPING.

Well it turns out it's the comments section, it's such an award to see that my BR has been read and most importantly that you had fun doing so. Now I am angry at myself for not commenting when I was reading some great reports in the past... I'll answer to just some of the comments (that need my answer) even if I wish to thank to EVERY one personally!!!
#29 The_Scarab: Yeah I agree... I like reports where the writing is funny and/or informative, I must say picture editing/design is MUCH easier than writing... But perhaps it's the language problem that hinders me from writing the way I wish. If I'm writing using my own language I would at least have a chance to try do some humour but in English it doesn't work for me =[ So I have to compensate a bit by using my graphic editing skills...

These are a GREAT series of reports, Breeze.
Although some people prefer the large pic heavy FFA games, and some like "celebrity" games, the kind of BR you do is my favorite kind of BR. Well detailed games on LT that do a very good job of explaining the flow of the game and what strategies to use. I am a low/intermeditate player, and I practice on LT, and these BR's are very useful for me. I read your BR's, and then when I play games, I can think, "ok, what did he do in that BR that I can learn from?". You do a very good job of explaining where everthing is, so at each point in the action I can think of what I would have done in the same situation.
I like your paragraph when you have your first force of tanks out and you have to decide whether to kill his exp or his main. I played a TvP game yesterday and was faced with the same decision! I like the way you go through the possibilities and logically decide to go after his main.
These BR's are great. I hope you will continue with this series. They are very very useful for player that want to improve their game. Please keep writing Breeze! |

| Those were some sweet graphix effects, they not only looked awsome but I thought they were just as easy to understand as more solid, block-like pictures that most people use. As it is first person report, and it is really difficult to take good screens and notes (Imposible to take notes when plaing...) it really deserves 10!
