some tips to help your game vs toss...
-if u plan on using wraith get armor first and continue to upgrade armor in hesitation. Corsair splash is a lot weaker with armor upgrade(this apply to mutas as well).Second kill obsever duh.
-like you said take small island and put some tower and a rax there.there is good chance u can take down shuttle before he land and later u make ghost on it.
-use the fact that siege tank can fire from island to another to take off cannon or nuke using the same way.
-Don't be afraid to attack, u primary force should consist of goliath tanks and some vulture help too(templar blitz and peons zapper) and when u can ghost and sc vessel help alot.

But... it's awefully hard to get into an island when they have cannons placed round the island... no? Wraiths don't really cut it.
| | #6 Helmintes[1665] | | | If you wanted to get into the island with wraiths, get sci vessels. Simply cast a defensive matrix on each of em. This would have also help vs corsairs and carriers. You should have gotten more goliaths for the carriers. Lockdown and matrixed wraiths spell doom for carriers. They key to winnin island games is to expand first, then prevent your opponent from expanding (or at least give him hell trying). Templar can be a bitch, but EMP and quick wraiths can cut them down before they can cast (just make sure all your wraiths arent grouped into an easily stormable formation). Island games make you better players, keep trying! |
