Well, the images were great, the writing was very detailed, and the game was obviously very 'technically' challenging, but I seemed to find something lacking... Flair maybe? I'm not sure. I can't really put my finger on it.... WAIT! I know!
Ok, the 1 problem I have with this BR is that you didn't seem to capture the feel of TvT, which is, IMHO, who can be gayer, faster. I mean, there weren't any nukes, SV's, mines, vultures, infantry raids, bats, turbo newbies... As I said before, the game was very 'technical'. It was a strat BR I suppose. And unfortunately, after working for a zillion thousand hours in a row, I'm not really in the mood for a strat BR. Hence, I'd say it's more 9 material.
I'll read it again later though when I actually want to learn something, and I'm sure I'll like it more.

i sorta agree with CM. it was a micro atk of small forces which is very skill happy, but i enjoy BR's with large forces adn lots of death!!! hehe. it's the sadist in me. but, nice pictures and your writing of the small time atks was very good. but, i like BR's with flair and smarta$$ comments and stuff. congrats to Aura and stuff for winning the most boring matchup of all. TvT. at least it didn't last 4.5 hours like most TvT's. hehe. i'd give it an 8 prolly. no higher just because of lack of flair and great attacks. but no less certainly.

If I was YRM, and I was making the rater tags, I would've made T_Mac's and crossed out rater. Then written sexy, free hand, in bright red, using the 'pencil' tool in MS Paint. I think it would look cooler.

You guys wasn't it wasn't fun must not have read the alt text. I went back and read it all trhough after the first report and I thought it was hilarious. I love Monty Python. They own almost as much as this report. I like these kinds of games better than the "take a 1 hour bath in all the blood" games. But anyway, another piece of art from GRB. As for rating, I am not worthy enough to stick one onto this.

Thanks for all the positive comments guys. I kind of enjoyed doing this report simply because it wasn't "just another" massive amounts of units going every which way. Especially because that's the way my first two went.

Hmm, I have to disagree with CM and co. I LIKE these kinds of technical BRs. BR's that are just "and he sent 128 hydras to his exansion and wiped it out" aren't very fun to me. I like technical, intense battles where I can read the BR and learn something for my next game. In this BR, I learned that 1-2 tank drops can be pretty effective vs terran, something that I did not know. I had always thought that if they have any kind of tank defense at home, a tank drop is hopeless and you have to tech fast to BCs or nukes.
I liked this report a lot, it's my favorite style of report. And the pics were great, especially the borders. I'm not sure I understood the whole writing alt text thing, although the "crowd going wild" at November was pretty funny =) |

There's nothing regarding the report that I can say that already hasn't been said, but I'll say it anyway.
Pictures- Brilliant. Well-organised and not too crowded.
Report- Well-detailed (which is the most important thing) and some interesting sidetracks (like Dr.Z's vulgar tendencies).
And now for something completely different...
I'm glad to see that people outside of the best country in the world (If you don't know that, you're either an idiot or a Yank- it's ENGLAND, of course!) have an appreciation for one of the finest examples of comedy there is. Monty Python's Flying Circus is a testimony to the fact that Britsih comedy rules SUPREME and is much better than these 'hilarious' (ahem) Yank sitcoms that Sky One has a habit of shoving down our throats. One question- have you seen the 'Funniest Joke in the World/Joke Warfare' sketch? It had me in hysterics! The Alt-text was great!

Damn that was a great br. Personnaly I think that tvt is by far the best matchup in terms of game quality. Because of the terrans defensive abilities the games are always long. Small battles with tons of micro >>> huge masses of lings and hydras and crap. I loved this report twice as much as his previous works. Very intense and knuckle biting game. I can imagine both players shouting curses at their monitors throughout the game.
I said it before and I'll say it again: Great Job Aura, you knocked off the best. I didnt believe you could but you proved me wrong so congrats. |

TvT is great to watch and play. I love tank / goliath drops and was wondering why no one used tank / gol / vessel drop? Seems like gols do well vs wraiths especially with range, and tanks mop up ground... (vessels for detect). |

| Dude, this report was awsome. Good images and i like the way the battle was more technical versus early gay rushing and such. Theonly thing i find slightly disturbing about this report is the complete lack of any early infantry at all. Neither player went for a couple bunkers or even firebats. Just straight to tanks and wraiths. Only 3 or 4 units made an appearence in this game and that brought the depth down. But besides that I think the report was really awsome and suspenseful.
