| HEY YOU! FIRENOVA! DO NOT MOCK VALKYRIES! I have used them many times and find them to be invaluable at times! They can take out a 12 overlord drop really fast even in a small group, and there was this one time where some guy I played BGH with EXTREMELY GAYLY and DUMBLY attacked with 12 guardians and 12 devourers. 18 valkyries eliminated them easily. (Of course I upgraded them, I'm a fan of upgrades.) |

I just think it's interesting that you're so quick to associate build orders with strategies. I think strategies are more along the lines of your general game plan, like 2 rax before supply cheese or quick expansion or heavy metal. There are build orders to go with the strategies, but as a player you have to remember that the strategy is more important. Many players are so reliant on their build order that even when they see their opponant is doing the best possible counter to what they're doing, they still refuse to change. Think during the game, it sounds simple but it is definately what seperates the average player from someone who is semi-decent.
I could go on about the principles of macro and how you become great, then best, but I don't feel like writing a whole strat guide today :P

But, I am going to try to turbo newbie my own cliff with turrets (not tanks, quick attacks are a must in 1v1's and it takes to long to unsiege, load, and unload such precious units) and I will try to keep a few gollies near my minerals in the future.
Otherwise, just do battle reports;) |

Well, you guys are probably right. This shouldn't be posted here. I just wanted some critique on how I was doing and if it was okay.
If you guys like Valks, that's up to you, but since I don't really care for them.. I don't use them :)
I don't think I'd really be all that good at battlereports either, since pictures are not my forte, but I might try one or two in the near future. I hope you'll read and comment on those if they arrive.

We get most of our terran strats from Heartcutter. And valks suck.
Lord Venom: Activius's head is not messed up at all. It's much better than some random BGH player.

Seriously, if you plan to talk strategy, include it in a BR and say how and why it worked. Just reading about stuff most of us know is <i>very</i> boring.

| Well......good effort, some nice title-thingies and peretty well written/proofread......If this was a br on a semi-intersting game on Lost Temple, this would be 6-7ish..... My advice: Write BR's instead.......I dunno if HC is much better than you, or his writing/presenttaion is better, but it simply wouldn't be a good idea to write about terran strategiy while HC is alive and writing........ |

| Valks tend to be useless in TvT, because if you're decent after 2-3 expansions you'll switch to goliaths or M&M. |

Well, here's a nifty point regarding Firebats. I always take them with me when taking on a Toss base - they may only do the 1/4 damage to buildings, but Protoss Shields still take _full damage_ This means you can set marines/tanks/whatever to kill the buildings, and just use the firebats as walking emps ;)
