Heh. It's impossible to compare Jester's zerg to Myst's zerg because jester always 4 pools. I watched him vs {SA}Raider/Fantomas in the Tao tourny which never finished, 2 ZvZs on temple, 1 involved a lot of muta blood, the other had featuerd a 4 pool. Jester ended up winning 2-0.

Oh and Binjured were do I ever make it seem like Myst is SUPER GOD and Jester is not? They are both good players. Jester is really good, and so is Myst. I don't know Jester personally, but he is a funny guy. I know Myst and he is really cool and my friend.
I didn't say Jester sucks much ass and Myst owns him hard. I just commented that Myst won the game rather easy against Jester. Which is the truth. Ask Bane, he watched the game as well.

| As a newbie I would like some advice. Would it have been a good option for Jester to go for reaver's rather than templar tech? In theory reavers are functional earlier as the storm upgrade takes a while after the tech buildings are in place. Also reavers and zeals work betterin combination. No storming of zeals :) Also by having another production facilty(robo), you free up your gateways for unit production. Plus you should have shuttles which give you the mobilty to expand to islands and scout/shut down the zerg trying to expand everywhere. Templar tech lacks mobilty and in my opion should be used later when goons form a larger part of your army. Please comment. |

From what I've seen King Lewis likes to comment on good BR's (look at SCV~007's and many others) and give them low ratings just to annoy/discourage. And in his reports usually he begs for 10's all the way through... Just ignore that "4" and the "no pics = max 5" shit. Some people rely on pics, some on writing, some on both... all approaches can be good

P.S. A "tip" - ripp off some Star Wars music and put in some Flash with your nick floating around to get a 10

well i thought this was another great all text by fox, very insightful , i learned a few things in the BR, I think the idea of pressuring toss right away with only the speed upgrade for hydras along with those speed lings is a better idea then waiting for both range and speed or going pure hydras.

| Hmmm....HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM......I don't like when people throw out records and say that they are a better player then someone because of that. I think rather then spew out your record vs someone you should grab a hold of your dong and make it spew instead to relax you. People get better over time....People have bad games/days every once in a while. Don't judge skill off of a few games because you will end up getting flossed by that person the next time you play them if you don't take it seriously. |

Even though Jester does like 4 pool, it does not in any way lower his zerg skill. The time when he beat me with was not just a 4 pool rush, I saw it coming and was doing a 9-pool so by all predictable factors, and opinions, I shoudl have beaten him, but he used one of the coolest moeves, hiding his lings in my base until I went to attack him and then ripped up my base, I returned to late to do anything. It was a goodd move, and that is respectable, regeradless whether it's a 4-pool or zileas-style reaver micro.

| This is in response to comment 25 by EvilBob. You are correct, in this particular game Reavers would've been far more useful than temps w/out the storm. However, many players will go temps/archons first vs zerg instead of reavers due to it's versatility, temps can counter mutas as well as the zerg ground units. Against all ground though, especially with zeos as your primary gateway unit, reavers would be better defensive support than temps, however you still need shuttles to use them effectively offensively. |
