Yours is one of the best names I've seen around here in a while clowns.
As for the BR, here are a few tips:
1) Collages - make the background colour the same as the colour of the background of the BR... ie your collages were black on a while background of the BR.
2) Use borders in collages. This was especially aproblem in the last one.
3) do better games. this was rather 1 sided.
4) write more. Just more text, more details, etc.

Good first attempt. Some of your pics effects were a little wacky (i.e. that first one with the fisheye lens). You need more detail and you really need to pick a better game to report. Beatdown? yes. You've got the right idea though. 6 on this one.

what they all said. For a first BR, not bad at all, although I was surprised to see you picking on, and making funof, the very BR writers that you were obviously trying to emulate...
I'd give it between a 5 and a 6.
By the way, for those who care (or don't) I did once write a BR... no pics, bad game, horrible writing and it got deleted from the site before ever going up (THANK GOD!). It was an embarrassment. So, whenever I comment on these (rarely) it comes with the understanding that these take a lot more work than I am willing to do. This was a great first. Keep up the good work, keep improving.

1) don't switch from the past tense to the present tense so much. It's hard to follow.
2) (My personal feeling) Don't br LT; it's been done to death and the chances of getting an original game out of it are low.

One suggestion I'd like to add is that you really should mention what map the game is on, even if it is LT. I figured as much as soon as I saw the jungle terrain and heard you talking about 12:00 and 3:00, but then I am (sadly) used to LT battlereports.
I'd also like to mention, for the Terran players out there, that heavy metal dies to Zerg. M&Ms (marines and medics, for the newbies) with tank and sci vessel backup is the way to go. Firebats if you find yourself facing a lot of lings and/or defilers. Throw in a wraith or two if you see guardians in the making, and comsat CONSTANTLY. Terrans can beat down Zerg pretty well as long as you stay on top of the situation. |

About the background:
This messes up a lot of new reporters. The trick is to put your report in a table, and then designate the table's background. Next time do this:

That should do it for you. As for the report, good job! It was a nice read. Heh, I was thinking of putting a fishbowl lens image in my most recent report, sort of like "Then the Hydras came pounding onto Green's front door" and have a Hydra in the fisheye like it was loooking through a peephole or something. But it didn't fit in to the report well. Ah well...
At any rate, good job! I look forward to reading more reports from you. :)

Thanks, I am working on my second BR...a longer game, Zerg vs Protoss on temple, it should be up tonight some time. It was a rather good game and the BR should be MUCH better.
