I haven't even seen the flash and I don't care. This report is an absolute masterpiece. The writing is just unbelievable. Some parts had me in stitches and yet it never interupted the flow of the report. It was satirical, full of subtle humor, and... and... well good.

JV has got to allow longer comments so the entire number paragraph fits in. BTW the number is uncountable because of the "multiply by the number of times probe has been an asshole" part. But just to give you an idea of HOW uncountable (does this word even exist?) the number is, divide it by the TOTAL of ALL ressources EVER collected on a mucho money map in the history of starcraft and you get something like 10³³³³.
Whatever, Fractal, you did NOT manage to destroy my modem because I have 10000 flies attached to work as cooling fans. You did, however, manage to destroy my entire house because somewhere in the neighborhood a nuclear powered modem blew up because of this report. Cabbit: I made both of the names symbols, using the set layer as mask command...look in flash help & search for "mask".
A note, do any animation (the moving BG) before seting the masks.

Heh...
Shape tweening is in flash help, and they explain it far better....but text is usually a symbol, and you can't shape tween symbols....
On a new layer
Enter the text, go to the frame you want to end the morph on, and place the new text as appropirate.
Back to the first frmame, go to 'edit'-->'split apart'. this turns the text into a shape so you can morph it...then do the same to the last frame & tween from there...
what i did in mine was have the text fade in as a symbol, then 3 frames before the morph have a new layer of exactly the same text as a shape appear under the initial text. then make the symbol text dissapear, then morph from there...
so every text bit that got morphed actually had two layers in it
that make any sense?
