Eeks AoK. I've started playing that a bit because some of my real life friends are really into that game. I will never see that replacing Starcraft, though. The game is interesting because of better graphics, more complicated resource management, dizzying tech trees, better UI, etc. I think though that it primarily has appeal to folks who are more interested in economic management, rather than the actual fighting. You spend the first 20 minutes (game time) before you even have a viable attacking unit... My games average around an hour unless we play Deathmatch, which is a breakdown where you just start off with tons of resources...
I've also tried C&C RA2, but I'm not impressed with that at all. Stick around a bit, 1.08 expansion is coming out within the next month or so, and it's going to include some balance changes. There will be a lot of renewed interest in SC.

You think games are stupid, but you post here anyway. You do all this 'extreme' stuff, and make sweeping generalizations about the rest of us. Cotrary to popular belief, not all gamers are fat, pale geeks with poor eyesight. The 'losers' remark really brings it home.
I play paintball, football, tennis, and used to play baseball and lacrosse. I run or bike on a regular basis, I weigh around 130 lbs. Not fat. I get decent/ mediocre grades in school (A- to B- range, usually), dispelling the fact that I'm an overacheiver (although it's not really a bad thing). Perfect 20/20 vision, no giant glasses here.

| The funny thing is that i did notice that about the star gates when i first started playing SC(consider i didnt play the single player missoins till about a month into it!)I actualy tryied to scourge the damn thing and got realy pissed when i could not hmmmmmmm.
