| Zealot/Templar is still very good vs Zerg. The toss can counteract your micro with micro of his own (flanking, storming beyond your guys, etc). |

That was a decent battle report, but you did go over the top with the Meek player (You) vs. The Egotistical Bastard (Him) type of motif. Writing was good, with descriptions not really needing pictures. Although if you had an observer to take screens of your dancing with storm, that woulda been cool.
The whole Hydras owning Zealots/Templars with micro strategy was a little bragadoshish. Hydras alone would never beat a good Protoss player, this guy just wasn't good at storming. He sounded like he didn't have any patience.
All in all though, good report, you sound like a good player, and with time and patience, will become a good battle reporter as well. Keep at it, but until then, this report will probably get a 4-5 from the raters. Don't get discouraged by it though, you'll get better, and if you talk to people and read the Reporting Guides on this site, you will do better. |

Thnx for comments =) Yah true zeal/temp is still good, but only for really good players. with goons he woulda have done better, or with flanking etc. but he didn't do any of that. Like i said, this report probably makes me look better than i really am, lol, but that's cause i wrote it after playin in it, not obsing it =). hehe thnx for comments, hope ya enjoyed it. oh yah, spacing looked fine on preview, so i dun know what went wrong. oh well =)

hehe i would like to take back my earlier comment about zeal/temp sucking. lemme rephrase, it only works for good stormers. And true, the reason it was easy is because 1. he did not place good storms, 2. he did not flank with his zealots. Sry i jumped to conclusions bout zeal/temp sucking, i just haven't lost to it in so long =). hehe ok there thnx for comments, =)

Hmm I don't think that zeo/temp owns zerg, but I defy anyone to come up with a combo that works better =/
Goons + Temps = not enough gas to build enough of them. Lot/temp is better because the costs compliment each other. 1 lot + 1 temp = 150 min/150 gas. Works out nicely.
The biggest weakness I find with zea/temp is fighting sunkens. I find enemy zerg can power too hard without me being able to punish him since he has sunkens to own my lots. Obviously I need to get reavers or goons, but who can afford that shit? The tech is too costly, you need your natural to get it. By then zerg has his natural, maybe his mineral only, and most likely at least one other main or natural probly both. So I get mass hydras hucked at me until I get bored of storming or run out of mana, and die. Its frustrating.
That is when I am playing equal skill player. A guy that I could beat if the races were reversed. Just seems like proof that zerg is imbal against toss. If I could change it, I'd change it so that Sunken Damage type owns lots/goons less. |

That's why i mentioned the cannon/temp strat. i've been beat badly by many toss who get their natural pretty quickly with cannon/temp. with the whole cors to dt which prevents u from attacking them, then they get 2 temp and lay down like 5 canon, expand, and with 2 geyser they start massive temp production/goons/upgrades. And cannon/temp ownz hydra, badly.

| This was pretty decent, but I think your one big mistake was saying something like "I thought i would be owned but that wasn't the case" in the begginning. Dont tell us that he wasn't that good before the battle begins or else we'll lose interest thinking its not a good game. Keep us in suspense and say stuff like that after. All in all, id say a 6, keep up the good work. |

Okay Chaos, this ones for you buddy. Time once again lady and gentlemen for another installment of The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. And a way we go...
(Note- In case anyone is wondering why I am commenting again on this report, Chaos asked me to do a G,B,U on it.)
The Good-
Very intelligent writing that detailed the action properly.
Pictures not necessary as you conveyed what was going on and I could invision the action.
The Meek player (You) vs. Egotistical Bastard (Him) motif was very effective, but a little over the top.
The Bad-
I say don't say a certain strategy is useless, like zeals/temps, unless you know for certain that a strategy is useless. (But you already know that as seen in the string of comments here.)
No screen shots :(, I would have loved a few "Dances with Storm" screenshots. But tis cool, I just closed my eyes and imagined it along with Daisy Fuentes in a thong bikini..........Mmmmmmmmmm Thong Bikini............Mmmmmmmm Daisy Fuentes...........Mmmmmmmm Her as..Oh what, oh where was I, oh yeah, okay, your report, right, sorry.
The Ugly-
That guy you played, really had either A- A bad day and had no patience, or, B- Really sucked at Psi-Storming.
Either way the game was really all you, with very few, if any, times where you were in trouble. That's what I felt was missing in the BR, that feeling of it can go either way. Although the Egotistical Bastard motif you started in the beginning was appropriate for the way you destroyed him, but still, I was disappointed in it not being a challenging game.

Entertainment- B (Gotta love that motif, even if the game wasn't as challenging.)

Personal Comments- I enjoyed the BR for what it was worth, in a white washing of a trash talker. But disappointed in that someone could not use psi storm all that well.
Overall I think the battle report is worth a 6 on the rating scale, but deserves a 7 as well if people overlook the fact that the game itself was a little one-sided. All in all though, keep it up, and maybe start using a little HTML or add some pics, and you will be a star here on BR's.com. |

nice all text report k@o$ but it was way too lopsided of a game (or so you make it sound like it was) , lacked detail, but all those pics and animated GF's along with the 3D maps and sweet ass font colors > me hehe ,, you should read the dudes guide on HTML so you can get pics,, but i still dont think that shoulda been gold =]
