Personally, I consider this part to be a bit more serious as compared to the first part. Its kind of a parable of the Starcraft community as it breaks up and everyone begins to go their separate ways. I can see how lesbians would distract the reader from getting this point though... :)

Wow, been looking forward to one of these for awhile.
I woke up this morning and accidently knocked over a speaker that I had put next to my bed last night. I went back to sleep, and then the dogs woke me up, someone was here. A friend came 'round, she had to go back to the school today to do some music thingy. She stayed for a few minutes and went. I got up to go have a shower and smashed my foot into the bottom of the shower door (ow). I got dressed and decided I'd have a nutricious breakfast of last nights pizza reheated with extra cheese added. Went and collected the garbage bins bcz today the rubbish was taken. Came back inside and came on the internet, loaded up the forum to see a response from you (kekeke thx) went to teh mainpage and I see a Drefsab report (kjhfbhwf YAY) not gold though (wtf???). Anyways, this was great, love the ending. The aussie reference was great, but those shows are rarely screened here, bcz they suck.

But im also tired of people running around trying to convince us that there isnt one =) (not nessecarily dref, but the arguement has been made of "they dont get special treatment!" before, when its clear a HoF reporter can get away with significantly more then an annoying pest no one likes, rightfully so, but lets try to acknowledge that fact)

Haha, all foreigners think that just because the typical american they run across is an ignorant, spoiled, and egocentric peasant it follows that all americans are so endowed. Well, I've been to OZ many times, visiting my friends and family there, and I go out of my way to learn about people from all countries who cross my path. From my experience, people are far more similar then they are alike no matter what country and culture they grew up in and when you talk about the English speaking countries that descended from the U.K.'s
former colonies then the similarities make them almost identical. That's why the brits, yanks, and aussies all so jealously comapare the few differences they have.
Alas, poor Dagomar just reinforced the image of the American as the brutish, capitalist pig that foreignors so hate. Look, Dagomar, are you the Commander in Chief? Can you personally call on the might of the U.S. military to save your ass in a barfight? The last thing I want to hear is yet another American open their pie-hole about how bitchen our war machine is when they probably haven't even served in the Armed Forces themselves. Hey, Dag, did you know that the vast majority of European men are REQUIRED to serve in their armed forces? Hell, you're typical American soldier hasn't seen any combat in his entire career since the last major flap we were engaged in was Somalia (No ground troops in the Balkans, remember?) So its the poor Europeans who are drafted by their own governments to man the ranks of the UN peacekeepers who end up in places like Cypress getting shot at by Turks and attacked by Greek protestors who hate their guts because they're getting in the way of their silly turf war.
Now as to the arrogance of foreigners who think that just because they've been able to make a socialist democracy work in countries of a few million they can presume to advise the U.S. on its own business. I challenge them to go to Russia or China or India or any country with a gigantic population of which the United States is included and see what kind of consensus they can build. What can any one person say they could do if they had the reigns of America over the last 200 hundred years? Now, the majority of foreigners I've run across have had the benefit of a wonderful education in manners and they very rarely share their negative opinions much less presume to offer unwanted advice. However, when the people here in America do something so stupid and hypocritical that any baboon on crack could tell that we are hopelessly stuck up our own asses, how can you not expect the rest of the world to comment?
So, to sum up. If you are American and act like you've got a tank in your back pocket then you are a fool and an idiot and as a fellow American I strongly suggest you go educate yourself and learn some manners so I don't constantly have to be embarrassed by the reputation you've given us as a people when I go abroad. If you are a foreigner then you may laugh it up now but don't make the mistake most Americans do of taking yourselves so seriously that any good advice you may have is mitigated by your own arrogance. I like to think that one day, most Americans will be bilingual, polite and cultured exemplars of a just and vibrant society and after you all stop laughing at the thought of that then please remember that if you were in my place you would want the same thing too, regardless of how far we have to go to achieve it. I think (DL)Spam explained what is lacking in this "report" best. Check his previous comments (#63 in particular) if you want the explanation.
The overall theme of my comments is not directed towards the specifics of the story ("pure shit" applies primarily to the quality of the raters, and secondly to the quality of the report), but instead towards the mindless praise that you lemmings heap upon it since it's written by a "known" author. I find this amusing and am intrigued as to why so many of you simply throw your praise at Drefsab regardless of the quality of the report he has put before you.
You need to just step back and take an objective look at things. Forget that Drefsab is your "demigod" and take another look at the report. If you still feel that my comments about the quality of the ratings are not warrented, then I apologize for my grave insults to your opinions (and egos). I will remember this in the future and be sure to agree somewhat with popular opinion before voicing my true views.
On another note - Drefsab, in the future you should not react so vehemently to the opinions people voice with respect to what you post here. This is a public forum where you have asked for others' to critique what you have done. If an opinion goes against your work, it is not an attack against you personally. I have a few things to say to you.
1. Look up Drefsab's report about him being accused of hacking, and look at the comments. There seems to be a gap where people are talking to the homo Goldie when he doesn't respond, but they actually had to delete his comments because they were so childish, gay, and stupid.
2. Drefsab is no great author. I mean, he's great with battlereports, and some good stories, but personally I didn't prefer about the 'When worlds collide'. It just seemed wrong to me, but I didn't care that much, I just shrugged it off. I did that because I knew it was his first four part story, and pretty damned big too. Also the gay thing kinda made it a little weird. Anyway, it's just a story. Fiction. A figment of his imagination that the erotic part of his brain created.
3. If you feel that offended by this report, then don't read any more of Dref's stories, plain and simple. You don't have to go bitching on and on about how it's 'pure shit'. It's stupid and pointless. My entire class hated the Lord of the Flies, but we still read it. Granted, we were required to, but we all didn't whine on and on about how it's pure shit. Well, maybe once, but we at least explained how it was so extremely boring and dry, especially how it had to describe every little detail. Now then again, some people out there may have liked it, though I doubt I'd ever see them. But it's just fiction, and we know it didn't happen.

I honestly could care less what you say about my "report". When I read the comments section, I look for sincere suggestions for improvement, appreciate the praise, and ignore mindless flames such as "pure shit".
What bugs me about you is your insistence on degrading other people's opinions. You have done this once again in your latest post. "<i>The overall theme of my comments is not directed towards the specifics of the story ("pure shit" applies primarily to the quality of the raters, and secondly to the quality of the report), but instead towards the mindless praise that you lemmings heap upon it since it's written by a "known" author.</i>"
Obviously this is just how you are and I'm not going to change your mind because we had an extensive discussion the last time this was brought up. I just want to restate that you are making a blanket assumption on what people consider enjoyable and entertaining. You know none of the people in this comments section, therefore you are not in a position to judge whether or not their comments are genuine. Just because you thought it sucked does not mean that all those who enjoyed it are "mindless lemmings".
That's really all I have to say on the subject (unless I decide to try and break 100 comments). :P

| MourningWood, please stop refering to my comments. You and I have completely seperate points. I voiced my displeasure at the report and dref placing this in the SC section. I also blew off some mild steam about a forum imposter incident that happened previous to this report, and in retrospect, had no business being brought up on his comments. I however had no problems with the rating. If you notice it has a 1, 2, 7, 8. A very wide range of opinions, giving him a 4.5 total, likely his lowest rating ever. The split between some peoples displeasure and some peoples enthusiasm for this report seems to be adquately represented. |

As an aussie, I feel I have to agree with you, Slayangel.
But remember, as Tommy Lee Jones told us in MIB, "A person is smart, People are stupid"
while individually we have our educated, unbiased opinions, unfortunately the ultimate impression we recieve of other is that which is portrayed to us in the mass media. Its a sad fact, but so much of the opinion of people is derived from what they see on TV... and the "only in America could they be that dumb" attitude is fed to us via that media.
Thats why i don't watch TV ('cept for Buffy. She owns me=))
