| Heh, I don't get it either. I completed all the single player missions before I set foot in multiplayer. |

| YAY! I GET SOMEONE IN MY BOAT! Lol. I never did a b-report on this, but ok, here goes a summary. It was 1vs1 Temple. He was toss, I was zerg. I scouted him early, and, knowing from his record he was newbie, decided to let him live. I made 3 or 4 sunkens, just in case, and went for gaurdians. I had about 9 muties morphing to gaurds when about 150 probes come streaming up my ramp. I fell to the ground laughing. I couldnt stop. He actualy managed to kill a sunken with them. I send my gaurds to his base to find a forge (upgrades? LOL) and about 3 new probes, with about 20 or 25 pylons. ROFLMAO. |

When I first played starcraft I made carriers without interceptors as i thought they were like shuttles and supposed to carry other units around, I couldn't get any units into the carriers and was watching in awe as an allie had millions of little things fly out of his carriers, I looked and looked for whatever building i figured would build the little winged demons. Then I read LOL on my screen (i didn't know what it meant) then "you have no interceptors fool" from an allie, I said it's my first game, he explained how to make interceptors.
What I am saying is give them a break it's tough the first couple of games.

Wow, this should go into the Newbieland Hall of Fame!
Tarr, if you played all the single player missions, you'd know carriers require interceptors. ;) But I know it's hard when the lure of multiplayer is there. I didn't finish all the missions first either. |

That settles it. I really have to try and stop reading these things at work, I had a hard time coming up with an excuse for why I was laughing so hard.
I think there should be a new category of BR's - comedy. |

Hehe. That BR was almost as funny as the offensive supply depots from someone elses report a while back.
I can relate to that interceptor story Tarranau, when I first got sc I was playing the toss missions and having failed to read the manual very carefully I was getting really pissed off waiting for the tech to go up so the shuttle icon would finally appear in my stargate!
After several failed attempts at the mission where u gotta take tassadar + 2 zealots to a beacon using only scouts to attack the island zerg bases I discovered it in the robotics facility sorta by chance. =)
I'm sooo glad I wasn't playing multi at the time! |
