| #1 Omnipresent[2044] | | Well, when you told me you exaggerated your report I thought you meant within reason ;/. Let's add in some corrections. First of all, my reaver drop just happened to kill all of his probes before me having to grab it back in the face of dragoons, so I think it was worth its time ;). 2nd, you really screwed up on our first assault at white's main. We didn't get thrown back by dt's and goons. You placed your hydras too close to the pylon my reavers were hittng and they all got blown to itty bitty pieces (not my fault you ignored standard safety precautions and got too close to my explosives ;D). Then yellow came in and though I took out a good number of marines and medics, further reinforcements in the form of tanks eventually defeated my goons and reavers.
Another mistake you made was that earlier on yellow made a heavy rush on you that you barely held and during this time I counter-attacked and took out his factory as well as a tank or two and marines before my goons fell.
The last major mistake you made is that I don't remember you coming to try to save me and If you did, shame on you you were supposed to kick his ass ;-<. Either way, I wanted you to get ultras because hydras get annihilated by m and m's and tanks and your almighty lurkers weren't helping so much as they were getting slaughtered :P.
Well, I definitely didn't make some of the mistakes you said I made, but I did make faults you didn't mention. Seeing as how we were really setting white back I should have expanded earlier and teched up to templar in case yellow would get too many tanks for my reavers (which he did). By making mostly goons and reavers I made very good offensives vs white but it left me severely open to tanks, and that didn't help me in the end. Ah well, dmb! whipped us near the finish and neither of us had the proper tech units to stop him.
Oh yea, another big mistake you made. I didn't complain that much in this game. I didn't whine or bitch much until we rematched ^_~. Besides I got a nasty sore throat and I have a right to be in a pissy mood =). I guess that was a good game, but I really think helm and I could have and should have played better than what we did. Yellow NEVER attacked me untill his one finall assault on my main. You just didn't see it. He left like a hardly respectable force (5 bats a marine and a medic) at my front door that NEVER attacked me. I didn't "barely hold" his attack. And I did stop an attack and helped you out. I remember this because I sent hydras and lurkers and actually won. I had a left over lurker from the attack (it was close) and I moved it down to try to ambush him. But he found it real quick and killed it. That's another thing I am sure of.
I don't think your reaver drop got all his probes, I remember getting the right side of the mineral chain. Could be me, I dunno. I'm pretty sure you didn't get ALL of em.. but I could be wrong.
Other than that, yeah, sheesh. I completely forgot about my hydras getting killed by your reavers. That's your fault anyway. I remember now and he had Zeals and goons coming from the north while you proceeded south and left your reavers unguarded. I sacrificed my Hydras so he couldn't get your reavers, you should be thanking me! You ignored them and chased a .. goon? I dunno, maybe you went for his Archives. Either way, I was the hero there.
By the way, you were complaining more than an unsatisfied bride on her honeymoon (hahaha, I just thought of that up). Thanks for the COMPLIMENTS omni! I hope to see more "positive" remarks from other people. Throw me a frickin' bone here! | | #4 Omnipresent[2052] | | You want some, helm? Either way, I did a lot better than you said I did, and you weren't as perfect as you coulda been.
Oh and I chased after not a goon, not archives, but a templar. If I hand't he coulda stormed your hydras instead of me getting to watch them walk stupidly up to a pylon and die to my scarabs. Now where's the fun in that?
All I said were I sucked at this game at a couple of times and I kept warning you to tech up faster, "hinting" that you should employ a pimp squad of ultras to save yourself from loads of marines.
I did leave one of my reavers open but it was weak anyways and by that time all of your hydras were dead so that I had to use my goons to protect it.
Sigh, something tells me we're gonna be arguing about this for a LONG time ahead ;/. Just see waht happens when my ultras ram you into the wall =).
As long as I'm not replying in any particular order, yellow DID attack you fairly early on with marines and meds with a couple of bats and I remember seeing your last sunken get hammered before zerglings, just popping out of their eggs, finished the few remaining marines left. I'm sure dmb! can back me up on that. Instead I use the extra cash to tech to goons, which while less effective, can walk up to their opponent for a nice cup of psychically-sheathed anti-matter bolts. (That's fun to type) Also, the terran was far from an idiot. He made bats early on cuz that's how you play vs a toss or a zerg that goes mad lings, and we both fell in one of those categories. However, seeing as how I was goin for goons and reavers and helm hydras, he quickly changed pace to m and m's and tanks which countered us perfectly. And yes, Helm's build order is very defensive, meaning I'm always the one that gets smacked first ;-<. Read Greyhoundbus's br and you'll see who got double rushed early on by marines and medics ;). | | #8 Helmintes[2068] | | | No, no no. You're thinking of another game omni. That was one with Shabz and Blade. Shabz attacked me and got a sunken when my lings popped up. I had 3 sunkens in the other game. Either that attack is completely wiped from my memory, or it never happened. Let's stop talking about this. The deal is: we lost and m and m's and tanks are good vs people who go Hydras and lurkers and Goon's and Reavers. I lost because I was not as good as Dmb!.
