Only gripe I have is that the only action in chapter one is the dark templar attack and it would have been nice if you had been able to bring that to some kind of conclusion before ending part 1.

This is actually pretty good. I started reading it thinking "oh God, another stupid SC junkie who thinks he can write," and then a weird thing happened: I found myself actually getting into it. Part of that is just the fanfic factor (fanfic about something you know well always goes down easier) but I still think it's not half bad. As far as I'm concerned, the only true measure of a story's quality is: do I want to read what happens next? And in this case, yes, I do. So please keep writing.
One thing, though. "Charles Vespene?" Oh yeah, good ol' Chuck. I couldn't help bursting out in laughter when I read this part. I don't know if you have any intention of coming back to any of what you write and revising it, but if you do, lose this part. |

Nah, some corn in the diet is good. There was a bit of cheese in Another 3.1 with the dropship pilot.
Fanfics are cool because of the familiarity factor, but you will NEVER see any of the big-name SC characters portrayed by me. They might be mentioned, but no action or dialog.
The existing SC characters are sacred, they won't be fucked with.
Escapist fiction is rated on two very simple questions
#1 - What is going to happen next?
#2 - How do I make people care about what happens next?
Answer those with something definite and you should be OK no matter what you are writing about.
