To comment #2: I apologize if that sentence was not clear, I meant to imply that sometimes the "Whining" is justified and sometimes it is not. I don't condone hacking, or non-legit teaming (like allying one person while ganging up on the other when there's still some life to the game).
Hehe, I just noticed that you selectively quoted me, if you had included the preceeding and following sentences in that quote, it would read different :). Thanx for the compliment on the writing though.

Nice report. You were very thorough in explaining your thought process, and that made it a very involving read! I like reading reports of games in which the author played for this reason, and you did a great job of it. Keep em coming :)

Ditto what Spuzz said. That was one outstanding battle report. I love it when the author talks about what he is doing and why. And love it even more when he talks about his opponents possible thought processes.
Good use of "Ensnare" quite possible one of the spells "not" used when people make queens (If they actually make queens.) I say write the one about how you found out about it, it sounds groovy.
In your next report, look into changing the background to black, and possible using color for the players names. It gets confusing with more than 2 players, and would benefit your reports. Pictures aren't really needed as you tell the action quite well, but would definently improve your report that much more with them. Although I can understand where taking screenshots is difficult when your actually playing the game, your thoughts are on gameplay and not on geting screenshots. :) |

I disagree BTW about the black or other dark colored backgrounds. They are cool, but way more likely to make the report unreadable on some setups.
Light, simple backgrounds are best.
Concetrate on the text and you don't need other shit to sell it. |

I dodn't necessarily mean to sell it, but to enhance the report more. If you've seen other reports in the past you will see that ones that employ backgrounds are much nicer to read, and also, for some reason, call me crazy, but get better ratings then ones with white backgrounds.
I agree though that the writing is the first thing that is important, and this gentleman has good writing, now all is needed are the little enhancements to make the report better. And after all, the black background takes all of 15 seconds to put in. :) |

| for map, just take a ss, open photoshop, psp, or whatever are proggy you have, go to your sc folder, open up the .pcx files .. edit em how you want, save as .jpg or .gif |
