Now to the body of this report. black text on white background is usually eye hurting, but this doesn't seem like the case. Picture quality isn't bad.

Bah, forgot the little comment I had about TheSexecutioner. The moment a comment like that comes from your opponent you should instantly treat it like you have a higher skill level than your opponent. People like him will never learn from their mistakes. If you had the opportunity to play him in 10 games, you would win every single time because he clearly showed that he can't adapt to the enemy's strategy in current and future games.

hah! i see that its a br by drawesome and i think yay its the me vs apex finally. Then i see the title and i think damn its not that one. then i read a little and see its gonna be a rant-type quasi-battlereport. then i see that game 1 is about a nh regular and i think bwahahahaaha someone we all know and respect is about to be totally shafted. then i see that dra isnt going to say his name and i think damn what a letdown, but on the other hand this is really taking the high road (well as high a road as possible when you make a "battlereport" for the purpose of complaining). But i guess thats not really fair either, its just a way to blow off some steam when you feel shitted on by lamers. I know how you feel about the hacking thing; i had to go through it ever couple minutes when i played cl. CL = SUCK BTW. Now i just say "fu newbie" though i realize that calling him a newbie might not be too applicable considering he won. And actaully that line of "no need, i won" kinda makes me think the guy deserves the bashing battlereport. Then of course in ladder thats no surprise at all. Everyone who is the best in his little clan or some guy who thinks "wow my melee rec almost has a 1:1 win loss ratio, now im gonna dominate ladder!" gets kinda peeved when they see how much better people are. So anyway then at the end i read that thing specially addressed to me and i felt all warm and fuzzy inside.

doh corb it wasn't even a ladder game it was just a melee or a UMS i dont even remember.
besides, hes not like a "regular" in the way you are thinking of. I don't see him in there often and I have never seen a post of his on this site. And besides, its not so interested in who he was. THe br is mostly like a story to tell or a rant or whatever. Not there to outright flame someone.

pretty decent reports. you got 2x teh amt of comments i got! hehe. anyway, it wasn't meant to be so battle/strat oriented than a state of bnet address. i agree, alot of "hacker" stuff out there. i am a hardcore map scouter, so i send sairs/probes out every 2-4 minutes to find naked bases or ovies or lings or whatever. i find these due to hardcore scouting and send in the 12 zealot pimpsquad (with legs, of course) and get the instant hack accusation. i have had ppl expand UNDER a sair, and call me a hacker. hehe. just take it all in stride. you were the better man for what you did by keeping somewhat quiet and calm. so kudos to you.

Hack accusing is lame. Why the fuck should I waste 15 minutes getting a ss and sending it to you just because you whine and you cant understand that you got beat by a better player. I am proud to say I have never accused any opponent of hacking. Nor have I ever felt sure that any opponent was.
Basically sending ss's is a pain in the ass and some people seem to think they have a right to make you do it just because they got owned. |

1st game was sort of filler. 2nd game it seemed like you got raped every five minutes but you still won? Guy must have sucked at macro to lose after raping you with his drops. And zerg is imbalanced! Just ask Corby. |

Someone said when 3 shuttles unload on a naked expansion everybody thinks this is a sure hack, although it might not have been the case at all - actually many players don't scout at all and just send a part of their army (especially in shuttles) to check out some of the mineral nodes anticipating that their opponent must have expanded.
Mark4 thought he got hacked in one of the last games he reported because the guy didn't scout his closest location with his overlord, but I hear Astic did that to Mr.X at the close locations (12 and 3) and rushed him (Mr.X was terran), so it's actually something that many players do...
Also about sharing vision, that doesn't really work - some people won't notice it, especially if they have all the map and you are reduced to your main with his army inside it ;)
Screenshots are completely worthless too, I've tried how the hack works and you can actually turn it off/on whenever you want with some very minor defects left on the minimap that almost everybody can remove in a minute with a simple graphic editor.
So my point is when you're playing someone you don't know there is always the thought that he might be cheating and it's a normal thing to get angry... some people can't keep it to themselves and that sucks but you have to learn dealing with hack accusations ;(.

I was playing a competitive tourney game today and managed to work my way into where I had basically won the game. Then my opponent accused me of hacking and made me take a screen shot, then listed why he 'knew' I was a hacker. It consisted of I did a reaver drop on a morphing hatchery. Of course the hatchery was placed such that any shuttle traveling from my main around to the back of his would be likely to pass over it. While I was explaining this, he was producing units and getting back on his feet. I almost lost the game due to explaining I was not a hacker.

Funny story about the share vision trick: i raped some x17er with a goon rush, and when my goons were inside his base tearing it up, he shared vision with me. Note that my goons were already inside his base!! He had shared vision on for a good 2 seconds before saying "LOL i have vision on you hacker" and leaving. Yahoo =/.
And yes mark zerg are imbalanced. They are far too weak against toss :). |

I actually called someone a maphacker for the first time ever, just the other day. I'd never been sure before, and usually the thought never even enters my mind, but this was too much. It was an island map, still early on, and I was trying to hydra drop him. Three times in less than 5 minutes I had speed-upgraded OLs full of hydras intercepted by wraiths while still far away from their target. And these weren't instances in which one patrolling wraith spots you and calls his buddies; this is 4-6 wraiths showing up all at the same time, in exactly the right place, and immediately targeting the same OL. I've probably been maphacked dozens of times and never known it, but that was as obvious as it gets, and as damaging.

Why would people bother to hack in melee games, if you have 2 computers or a friend, you can just keep rising your melee wins. As for ladder, the #s are always hacked. As for real hackers, winning a game with cheat does not mean you are better, and being accused for winning a bad game is not worth it.
Hacking, what a waste of time on sc/bw, do something else that give u $... (might go to jail)

| i know what you mean, yesterday i tried to play 4 ladder games, thinking how fun it used to be. First game i won, but got duel disc cause "I hack." Second game i won and my opponent said gg and then dropped. no win for me. third game it was a ffa where 1 1/2 hours later it was just me and one other person. He told me that if i won he was going to disc me. i won and he disced me. final game i lost. so my ladder record is 0/2 with a nice rating of 973. What a waste of time. |
