heh, there is nothing i can really comment on the text... maybe a bit more humor, but thats a writer's personal choice. Pics would always be good.. and maybe make the width of it 500.. but other than those technical details, great job.

Nice job indeedee, this made me a little happier about my day, after getting into a punchup this morning, spilling my yogurt in my bag ( which curddled ), failing a test, waking up late so I couldnt stufy for that test due to a falty alarm clock, getting my twin assignments dirty and slipping on the stairs.
On the upside, the girl I like ( no more girlfriend, dumped her =D ) was very nice to me today. Woohoo!!!!!

WTF would you say that zvz is about macro wars b/w muta or ling, and that hydra has no placein this matchup. Ling/hydra/ensare > muta/ling if u dont think so then read tsunami's strats.

Raining Blood, I said I thought hydra had no place in that matchup. In head to head battles hydras own mutas, but mutas are much more mobile, and if you can micro well enough, and harass well enough, you should win with mutaling IMO. |

Well played games, and extremely well reported despite the lack of pictures. The ratings were a great touch - I never think to look at my opponents (or, for that matter, mine).
The bad thing was that Terrans were 0-3. Imbalance exists; I hope Blizzard realizes that Toss drops are just too damn effective and does something... anything... (sorry, i'm just coming off of three 1 on 1 losses, all to Toss, and I'm in a bad mood)
But you write good reports. I wish I could analyze my performance as well as you seem to; I'll bet it makes a difference. I look forward to your next work. |

Although toss drops are effective, so are many other drops. Lurker drops and firebat drops are just as effective as DT drops.
Yeah, you can argue that theyre cloaked and stuff, but shuttles are expensive, and although they kill peons in one swipe, firebats can kill 10 in two attacks because of splash, and lurks can do the same.
I think the game is very balanced, with the possible exception of Zerg vs Toss, in which a perfectly played zerg will beat a perfectly played toss, there's just nothing a toss can do.
There's also never gonna be a perfectly played toss or zerg, so the imbalance is not that great, I just think it's the worst of the three race matchups. |

No one's probably commented on this in forever, but the presentation and everything was excellent. I'm probably one of the few people who don't think pictures are necessary (at least on temple). Also, I really liked the analysis at the end. I spend more time reading about Starcraft than I do playing it. :)
Upgrades rock. I don't think people really understand how much upgrades help. 1 valkyrie owns 1 corsair big time, but a fully upgraded corsair beats a valkyrie with about 70 hp left. (ok, so I had too much time on my hands one day, played toss against a computer terran and a computer zerg, mind controlled and went nuts with experiments).
Haven't tried this, but the math works out: 1 marine (not stimmed, no range upgrade, but full weapons/armor upgrade) > 1 hydralisk (no upgrades) and the marine will have about 5 hp. |
