| Hi you guys. Thanks for reading the battlereport. Normandy has a good point. How do I know that it was really Pillars? All I know is, the people we played that night were really good. My rec on public BGH games is about 700-300 and Jason wins half of his Lost Temple ladder games. Rarely do my brother and I lose so convincingly unless one of us is 4- or 7-pooled. I wish the game wasn't so one-sided so as to make a better BR, and I wish I could've taken more pics but I was too busy trying to stay alive. Pillars, if you are out there, please confirm whether or not this was actually you. Thanks again for your constructive criticism. |

Some more thoughts on that game:
What impressed me about that game we played was how aggressively our opponents denied our ability to scout. I mean, if they saw a marine traversing the map in the direction of one of their bases (they left lings and zealots all over the map), they would send entire control groups out to kill that marine before even getting near their base.
I guess the one tactic that I learned from this game is to build an ambush right in front of the choke leading to one opponent's base. Killer~Socks used pylons/cannons/zealots in this way. When you double-team attack that base, the ambush will destroy the force sent by his partner to help. |

I do doubt it was the 'real' Pillars, but sometimes people just coincidentally have the same name. I have a good friend that goes by Tsunami, but he isnt 'the' Tsunami.
If it was an imposter, he would most likely suck, nor would he make a name showing he was in a different clan than {PH}, not if he knew anything about the 'real' Pillars. If it was the real Pillars, he wouldn't join a bgh game unless he was in a total smurf name that you would never think of attaching him to. I would never join a bgh game without smurfing, just for fear of being seen or /whois by someone I knew! |

Thanks for the feedback. I know he is in the PH clan, but I think at some point and time he was part of clan nine, back when that clan was really active.
Well, whether or not it really was Pillars, I still got schooled pretty badly :[
Hopefully I can write more BR's in the future and use this first attempt as a learning experience. I think more studying in HTML is a good short term goal. |

Yes, that definitely wasn't Pillars. His real name is {PH}Pillars, and the only other clans he's been in are CoP~ and [s] I think, and he always capitalizes and punctuates, as well as spelling words out.
