hmmm the game was not amazingly spectacular, but the report was very good! good pics, presented in a good way, pretty funny(although you fell flat on a few jokes every now and then :p), and good writing
things that bugged me:
-seemed like the whole time you were rooting for joe and just waiting for him to come back and win. i know hes your friend, but you did seem a little impartial.
-game not <b>that</b> good. a little muta vs hydra back and forth, nothing much special, but not bad nonetheless.
-joe had like a few hyds then all of a sudden 30??? how many hatches did he have? more details basically.
also map pic was a bit big =o

yeah, I'm a little skeptical about Joe's situation. You made it seem like he only had a control group of hydras constantly running around trying to fend off huge muta raids. The fact that he has enough gas to make 6 lurkers and 30 hydralisks while his opponent only seems to have maybe 20 lings, leads me to believe that either Joe stashed away units and made it seem like he was dying, to get his =]]'s guard down, or that he had horrible macro and ended up queuing up 18 hydralisks after he realized he had 3000 minerals.
You did an excellent job making such a lame game seem exciting, but you can only bring style so far...a real quality game woulda been nice(;

dereck ur quite an asshole btw but since i palyed the game ill tell you he did forget hatch count.. when i lost my den i made 1 mre hatch above my ramp and i did let him destroy the den and continue to pull raids knowing that all i had to do was keep producing and get lurkers the den went down just as range finished and so i rebuilt and started lurkers im not sure if i had 30+ hydras.. but i never had more than 500 minerals in my bank sorry =/ i dont play like you and let my minerals gather up.. why do you always feel the need to criticize things related to me ? what did i ever do the toher day i post on forum and i get you flaming me "you are gay" for why ??? no reason is why..... if u dont have something nice to say dont say anything nice at all! and this report is definitely higher than a 7 and the game was quality it was fast paced and full of quick moves by both of us players.. if u had observed it you would have seen this and i feel buckeye represented the fast nature very well. but the game was good it was a pure strategy match

ok well when i said it wasnt the best match mostly i meant nothing special happened. a quick back and forth hydra vs muta bam thats all. no spectacular new strats, no funny strats, no off the wall strats.
but to have a good game you dont really need any of those (even though, if they work out well for the player, its like an instant boost). this game jsut didnt seem that great. im not saying it was terrible, and probably above average but nothing 10 worthy |

I thought the report was not bad. The game was good, until the end though. Joe was getting his ass handed to him it seemed to me, then suddenly he moved in with 30 hydras and 6 mutas, and you didn't even say he researched the aspect. Out of nowhere, Joe shows up with a death suqad and 10 seconds later every unit Smiles has it blood soup. Kind of a stop, drop, and die ending. But everyhting else was good.

and showed that joe had "lurker aspect (just wait^^) "
but ya i did kinda skip there although i never said joe lost many drones so it wouldnt have been impossible to imagine that he had the extra expo and only 2-4 drones died at a time |

The second animated gif was great, the first one was a bit jerky, though. That doesn't detract too much, though.
Hehe, yes. You were joe's cheerleader. This viewpoint made us all think that joe was going to lose, though, so I guess that helped with the surprise at the end.
Judging by the final scores, it appears that the game lasted under twenty minutes. Some games this length break an 8 rating, but not many.
This seems so evenly balanced between a seven and an eight, that it's hard for me to suggest a rating for it. After viewing the animated gifs, and your sense of keeping us in suspence (although it was a tad unbelievable at the end until I thought about it for awhile), I'd say that I'd give this an 8.
