Since you are messing with clans it would probably be more Dref's style. I screw with clan a LOT, but none of my run-ins have been worthy of a full-blow BR as of yet.

hmm this possible funny story came out pretty stupid...
your writing style didn't really lend itself to humor writing.. no sarcasm, no really witty jokes, pretty much just "haha these guys sucked"
the story was funny, yet unbelieveable. replays or, even better, screenshots of conversations and games would have increased this rating by a little bit

I think a text report could still be worth reading, even with replays, but not this one. "Disclaimer: if you are looking for strategy tips, Please read another report. You won't find any here."
As others have told me, don't post a report unless you know its a good game, or you can make people laugh with it. I know you thought it would be funny, but you need to make an effort to make it funny.
Try again with screen pics and a good game or something you actually make an effort to make funny, and I'm sure you'll do much better.

I don't care what these guys say, that was fucking cool (if it really happened). It did contain humour, but it wasn't blatantly obvious as with other people's writing styles. It was subtle, improvisational humour. Good work dude. Keep it up.

It seems that whoever said that hasn't been around very long. Anyone who's been here for a decent amount of time remembers MontyPylon, and can honestly say this his reports ROCKED, yet he NEVER put a picture in ANY of them.
I don't see what's wrong with text-only reports. I thouroughly enjoyed this report, and it didn't have any pictures.
I could argue that by not taking pictures, you could make more detailed observations in-game, but that would be shot down by the replay feature.
What I'm saying is, text-only reports rock, don't flame them. |
