some freindly advice...
try to draw your BRs out longer... that was just boring how you compressed that battle into one paragraph.

Pretty good for your first attempt. Game was kind of short and sweet, which makes it though to write about. Also, pictures would be nice. Kakaru wasn't eliminated because I think in use map settings, you're only eliminated once all of your units are eliminated. Also, it might help you in writing future battle reports if you read some of the reports that got a golden bengalass and try and find out what makes them so good and incorporate those techniques into your next battle report. BTW, I wrote a battle report on Dire, which I think the 2nd battle report will be on :). You might want to read it.

I need some advice here: how do you defend against an early medi-rines combo with tanks if you are zerg. I mean stims and medics beat the shit out of hydras, and lurks have a smaller range than tanks(in 1 sweeep they r dead)
Even with an overwhelming 20+ hydra force i couldnt beat 15 marines b/c they had medics! what can i do to defend against this? plz give advice

You have to broodling the tanks so your lurkers can get the infantry. Lurkers, guardians, and ultras are the only thing zerg have that don't get raped by infantry. Once the tanks are gone, it doesnt matter if the infantry can see the lurks or not, they're dead. Thats the only way zerg can stop a good early tank push, to my knowledge.

Thx bob, although i dont think broodling comes in time for an early tank push...

D'oh... I don't know why I'm writing this then=)

Kakaru: to beat early M&M/tank push as zerg, you gotta lurker contain (or slow down). Hydra's are NOT the way to go, they'll die miserably to M&M, as will zerglings=) But, you hafta use one... so use zerglings.

First, don't triple hatch on land maps. In my experience, triple hatch is bad (even on islands ronin~=P).

Second, you'll need to get equal cost number of zerglings for his marines (AKA, if he's got 12 marines, get 24 zerglings) that's the LEAST number amount. After that, you'll want 4-6 lurkers (or however many you can afford, getting a second expansion quick is helpful). Now, run in the lings to draw fire and burrow the lurkers. Try to surrond him in lurkers so he can't really run (it's helpful if you sent a few out already, so you can get him from behind) Unless the terran player focus's fire on the lurkers, when they burrow, you should take out most of his infantry. Then send in another group of zerglings to wipe out the tanks and any straglers. If he does focus fire, your zerglings should have an easier time dealing with his infantry (no matter medics or what). What can obviously hurt this is alot of firebats, in which, you'll need more lurkers (and prayer). Try to get both missile/melee upgrade at the same time. This way, you can counteract the armor upgrade he's obviously going to be getting.

Then, you'll want ensare to cancel out stim (after the early tank push) and broodling. Then, defiler's/ultra's to deal with the BIG tank push=P

Hope this helps=)

P.S. It's not guranteed to work every time=P

From a game of Ahscar's zerg vs an terran tank push. Scenario:
2 tanks, 12 marines, 6 medics. Ahscar had about 20 hydras and some lings. He divided his force from 2 wings, and engage the terran force in the MIDDLE of the map, not from your ramp. He attacked from the left side of the push, attracting marine force, then send another wing fron the right side, targetting the tanks first. The tanks die fast, the when the hydras mob up from both sides, the marines die fast too.

As blank had saud, to defeat a BIG tank push, you'll need hive. Queens work ok in later part of the game when they got enough time to charge up.

Oh yeah, sorry about the advice, I've been playing to many newbie games. I'd better cut down.
