Ok... not too bad I'd say. It's great to see a non-sc report. But ... am I the only one who sees "other" reports as grey as opposed to purple?
Anyways, keep it up. Even if you don't get gold, it's much better to see this kinda stuff than another over-jazzed temple report with the same old strats that gets an 8 or so. |

| BTW, alot of time in the game of Sudden Strike goes up for "tactical waiting", meaning they camp. This is why the game seems so short, but was really 2 1/2 hours long.... |

It's ok. I'm sure it would make sense to a player of the game, but I still didn't understand many of the troop movements - even the minimap was somewhat confusing. It also didn't help that there were so many players to keep track of. Perhaps next time you could just name them E1 through 4 (for the evil team) and G1 through 4 (for the good team)?

i kinda liked it, buuuuut ... it seemed a bit short, and it was all like .. "they battled and then it was over". You could provide some more details, like how they attacked (since micro is such an importat part of the game), etc.

Oh yeah.. there are supposedly 15 active raters yet most of the recent reports have been lucky to get even one rater to rate 'em; many are still unrated.
It's not like the site is being flooded either, it's getting about 1 report a day, and even so apparently about 13 of the 15 raters can't be bothered to check in once a week and read 6 or 7 reports.

I could never play a 2.5 hour game with the wife and kids on my back. I love a great 8 minute blood bath micro-intense battle. |

Hey RubiksCube...
I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that the reason that you don't have screenshots for this game is that it uses directX, and consequently you can't simply use the "print screen" button to take screen shots...
for your next report, I would suggest that you check out
www.hyperionics.com. They have a program called "hyper-snap" which allows you to do nice screen captures of directX and glide games... and the download is free.
I hope to see another report on this game with some pix of the action.

| Thx for the remarks, funnymarx, I already use hypersnap for capturing screens. The only problem is that I didnt play this game (I am not that good in Sudden Strike yet to be part of either FK or CfuP) and noone of them intended to br this. Masslin wanted to write a German Battlereport then and asked for my help. This made me post it in English on this side... |

| I'm sorry, but I thought it sucked. There was no detail about the battles except when the troops put behind enemy lines laid out land mines. Please, use more detail next time. I could care less if you have screens or not (though it would probably be easier to understand with them), but please, for the love of god, tell us what happens in the battles besides who won and who lost. I mean, did the tanks kill the others guys infantry or did a rabid panda bear make a special appearance and rip them to shreds? I just want detail =( |
