but emps cost is 300/425 (sv + research) and slows down the nukerush alot

| although this looks like you wrote this with a sixth grade english education under your belt, its decent enough for gold. this had some potential -- could have been longer, more clear on details and the nukes, could have added a little pizzazzz. you will most likely receive a 7. |

while cold`fusion is a horrible player (sorry CF) and would die to any decent player i can tell that you definitely.. would also(with the nuke rush at least). play more like boxer (you know, nuke rushing a pro toss, emping everything in sight, dropping 1 ghost 3 medics and 2 vultures and killing a whole base in about 10 seconds, going from main to exp, nuking both without being stopped, etc, etc, etc, etc). anyway, uh decent report i guess, i was surprised you lost, after he said "no rush" i was sure it was gonna be a newb stomp..but pretty decent i suppose, 6, maybe 7 if you give the raters head (talk to dagomar ;] )

If you base a report around a single strat, it must be either
a) a new, innovative strat that you explain the BO for
b) a funny, ridiculous strat that no one cares how to do
Your nuke rush didn't fulfill either of these. Therefore, it was a failure at a single-strat report. It was also a failure at a newbie bash report, since you lost. It was also a failure at a good game report, since the game was newb-ish. It was a failure at a humour report because it wasn't funny.

| it got a 5 because there was no real content, and it wasnt all that funny. reports like chj's get 10's because they have everything, writing w/detail and humor, great pics, and good presentation. reports like that ice guy's get 7's because they have things like writing, pics, and decent presentation. this report had no real strategy or detail, no real humor, nothing special pics wise, and the presentation was average. 5 out of 10 is AVERAGE. what do you expect? no need to cry about it man just try harder next time or try a different format.. |

My difficulty is that I should really report a game. However, I made 2 bad reports, and learned my lesson: a report about a bad game is generally bad. I am constantly on the lookout for a game to report, but it's really hard to find one that's good enough. Then again, if one comes my way, I'll report it. I'm still hoping to be the first full-version SS reporter (I don't think a full version SS report has been done yet... I may be wrong).

| i just did a nuke rush game ina 2v2 and i own i stole the emp thing off of boxer to kill toss and i will prolly do a BR on this it was tight asshole i nuked 2 of his nexus's ina row he failed to place a cannon there so i kept emp'ing his stuff and then BOMBS AWAY it was orgasmic, so i will prolly have a BR within the week CHJ ur report was awsome i also rate this report a 7 cause no B/O but my report will contain a B/O that i just made up it works wonders |

| alright heres my B/O for nuke rush 8 supply 9 refine 11 rax 14 supply 16 fact 17 academy 18 starport(with tower) 19 science place thing 21 dropship 23 covert ops 24 supply 24 silo 24 cloak and 24 EMP(if ur nuking toss wich i was) 26 science vessel 27 ghost now load them into drop ship emp the nexus then cloak and nuke (keep in mind it was a 2v2 game though so i was extremley vulnerable but my partner kept me alive i was attacked once by lingz) the nuke will destroy the nexus and hopefully ur opponent will quit because they have no money and cant afford another nexus well there it is im sure u can find a better b/o butt o well i will post again on this forum boxers nuke b/o |

I mean, seriously. If you're writing simply to increase your rookmark, then the final product will be flat and uninspired. If you're writing for self-gratification, then it shouldn't matter what you get for a rating. The most successful battlereporters write for the community as a whole.
I just don't understand why Adrenaling started kindling the flames in #34. NotDefault's criticism was valid and he exhibited tact in his post. Good criticism can only help a battlereporter.

| the main problem here in my opinion after reading your sorta disorganized report is that YOU LOST. dont br something you lose unless you think the reader can gain some kind of positive insight on either what you or your opponent did. Not only that you are trying to teach the reader a strategy, a secret one evidently. If you are teaching us how to do it, then at least show that it works. By losing not only did you show that nuke rushing sucks, it shows that it is hard to execute properly EVEN on noobs. |

Actually CHJ, I was a bit too hostile with my comments. I think this was because I had Adrenaling's last 2 reports, which were somewhat boring, in the back of my mind. This is still an improvement, but there're things that could've been better.

And wtf Boxer didnt make the emp + nuke vs. toss...I know of 3 people (myself included) who did that back in the time that I had never been on battle.net or even heard of any sort of pro gamer... Actually I thought it was just good strategy... always emp the site a nuke will hit a toss... Doesn't everyone (who uses nukes) do that?
