It's not joe's fault, it's just that all the units look the exact same in the SS's, and while they look awesome, I can't tell wtf is going on other than some shit is running around killing other shit. Maybe compared to some of the previous SC reports with flash, java, etcetc it might not deserve a 10, but it's the best wc3 report i've seen, and it's between top players. Surely that counts for something?
Btw joe, was that on patch 1.21 or 1.30? you didn't mention... i suppose 1.21 or else farseer won't have been able to get mana potions so soon?
Also, am i right to say jamers = zileas?

Thnkx for the posotive feedback all, this was played in 1.21. As far as i know jamers = jamers.
Also war3 pictures are not as depicting of the action actually taking place because unlike Broodwar you dont really see projectiles very much. Brood war had big balls of light flying around. War3 you cant quite tell whats engaging what as well , maybe they might add more animation to certain types of attacks, I dont know. |

Keep them reports coming joe, I'm just *starving* for WC3 reports. Replays on top players are common on the IN clan webpage and zileas.com forums, so you have no excuse for lack of material!
hmm 4 chain lightnings on acolytes = weird decision. Peon and building harassment with BM or DH i can understand..... but this is just strange. They need to fix DHes so they can't mana burn each other..... that is just lame.
Someone mentioned earlier about how you should have posted these as 3 reports...... all would go gold.....

I like how the game essentially has one build order per race unconditionally eh, makes random nice and easy ; )

Pualee : Currently the main gripe is that the creep/exp system forces you into low level units always because you have to kill creeps fast to gain experience for your hero, because heros dominate battles so much. Thats the main reason behind most gripes. |

I just played WAR3 for the 1st time(pc cafe I went to had beta version on every computer) and i decided to build one of every unit(to see what they did(undead=me.) the race seemed like a lot of spellcasters compared to actual power. I was having trouble building guys just 2 fight(one unit mines wood and fights-necromancers cast spells.)

Then i built something called an aboninable(spelling) and researched poison cloud-however when my mouse hovered over the icon to use it said(0 damage done) I was like-waste of resources-i didnt know hero's had inventories lol-i thought items i picked up just became equiped immediately.
I played someone else who's first time it was as well so I stopped messin around and leveled my hero to 5(destroyed every creep) and sent in an army and washed over his base. I really had no idea what he built all game-he musta had a ton of resources as his army was small and he didnt have all that many buildings either. Someone tell me how to use the immolation(whatever) spell-i clicked it but nothing happened lol |
