This is a really good report. You are accelling like a motherfucker. The only complaint is doing a 6p ffa. That gets extremely confusing. The most, MOST, I would ever consider doing would be a 4 player ffa. I did one once and even that turned out a bit confusing. Anyway, this was awsome. Oh yeah, one more thing. hrm, some things did annoy me. You kept saying how absolutely great everyone was in their descriptions. They aren't that good =[.
Also, the colour of your text irritated me, and your collages/images could use work ( borders weren't always the right size etc ). They ARE a definite improvement though. Your text could use some work . . . it's the only text I ever read that's utterly dry one moment then helter skelter and excited the next. The only continuity I can find in the writing is that it's always repetitive. I like how you used a single paragraph as your late game.
Also, if you report a 6 FFA, know that a report of this size is typically enough to cover about 1/3 of the game, tops. Check out some of the better reporters' FFA brs and learn how to do them a little better.
ANYWAY, don't get discouraged, this was a good attempt and you're improving rapidly. I'd say 6.4. |

first how can he be improving dag if he gets a worse rating ;) ;) then his last report. Anyways the reason i think this didnt get gold was because of your writing style. Your pics are fine, and your choice of font isn't terrible even though pink writing on black is not great. Try white. This looks like bold arial or comic sans? just use normal arial. Your writing is sooo fast and hard to keep up with. You insert no personal opinion or emotion even when you are in the game. Your player introductions are short and the report seems loosely organized. You went step by step and it didnt seem like there was more then one battle going on at a time. Fix your writing, make it longer, spend more time, and you'll get a gold for sure.

That was WAY to short. First you have the build orders and next thing I know carriers are comin out and gettin killed, where did mid game go.
Watch your spelling, I saw an "our" instead of an "are" and a few other things misspelled. Type it up on word, then copy/paste to the submit reports page.
Just work on grammer and length, Br better games, you'll be fine. And maybe your grammer and spelling would be better if you didnt skip school. Hmmmmmm......... *rubs chin, as if he has a beard* |

The text was a pain to read, you said in the beginning that there weren't any good colours left or whatever. I'm not sure I get ur point, but if its cuz you don't want to use colours others have used, then just go with the usual white :P
The first couple of paragraphs had me in the dark for the rest of the match, they were really confusing.
In the start, just under of the players name, you kinda revealed who would win :P Thats not clever.

The US defended the "free" world against communism after all, and was the main cause for victory in both World Wars. Nonetheless, generally you're correct, the size of the military means very little as to how "good" a country it. Things like the level of violence in a nation, its social programs, how it is respected across the world and how it treats its weakest may be better criteria to judge a nation on.

Okay, the military argument really does still hold. Europe needs American military power. Whose troops and firepower were primarily used in Bosnia, a European conflict? America's. And America hardly bothered to ask Europe for help in Afghanistan, partly in order to avoid a "war by committee" but also partly because there was really very little that Europe could have contributed. Europe came in after the war was over to keep the peace but it did little actual fighting. Militarily, there's enormous frustration among NATO brass that Europe won't pull its own weight within the alliance.
Don't think this is just my American opinion. You can read pretty much the above analysis in The Economist, which is British, although its obviously a more nuanced view than I've conveyed in this short comment. |

As for social spending--I agree with you that the US could easily afford to spend a lot more on social programs, and it should in my opinion. However, I don't think I agree that it could spend as much as Europe and Canada do without serious repercussions for the economy, and you could make a case that these other countries spend too much... many of them are moving toward more privatized systems after all (including fair Canada), and their productivity growth has lagged behind America's for the past decade.

| /me was wondering how a thesoby report could generate 100 comments. I figured that at least 40 comments were on spelling/grammar, and another 40 had nothing to do with the report itself.
