heres part 2 of my last post i experimented with html a little bit didn't seem to help much though. I was hoping the black back ground and white text coloring code would work but obviously they didn't i used this code for them: <Body BGColor="#000000" Text="#FFFFFF"> pasting everything off of notpad it was inside the <body> and </body> tags like the guide i used said it should be so i'm baffled...
if anyone can recognize this and tell me what i should of put i'd be grateful.
also i had my girl friend and bro proof read it so point out any grammer/spelling mistakes them and i overlooked if you want to.
probably my last post for at least a week or two cause this takes too much time but i promise a part 3 soon for those who actually like these |

It was much easier to follow with the lack of spelling and grammar mistakes (still a couple, but nothing that detracted form the reading) and also its seemed to flow better than the other. GJ.
As for you HTML problem, I viewed your source, and your missing your <td> and <tr> tags (put them before the <body> tag). Don't forget to put in the </tr> and </td> after the </body>. Hope this helps. :)

Not too terrible, but the length of the submissions illustrate why raters decided to rate the finished product of the fan fic instead of each individual part.
This decision was never set in stone, so I use my own discretion in rating parts of fan fics.
I'd say that for me to rate a part of a fan fic, it would have to be six times the length of this segment. I apologize, but it's important to prevent the abuse of the rookmark that took place under the old system. Too many people would submit only one or two parts, never finishing their story.

If thats too many parts i could always make each one twice as long; but it would take hours to read the whole thing compacted into one report; and no one would want to spend that long reading the same post. Furthermore, people get the picture of what their reading better if it hits them in small portions so they can focus their thoughts on one thing at a time. If you want to read the whole thing at once all you have to do is look up reports by author, type in my pen name, and read them one at a time in order, once its completed. |

Nice, I see the quotes. Now, what you need to do is make a new paragraph for every time someone else starts talking
example:

Ya if you hit tab it just takes you over to the submit button, you can space bar about 5 times, but the spaces won't show up on the preview version or the real thing after you hit submit.

put a 3 of those in to indent. that, or make a 1x1 transparent gif image and just insert it, making it 1 pixel tall by 15-20 or so wide, then have the text start after that. |
