click on guides on the left, read the ones by phiber optic and caught naked. they will teach you some basic html, enough to do basic stuff
and the spacing thing, you need to change it form "i will insert my own <br> tags" to the other one

| hitting enter does not give it paragraph form like on programs such as Microsoft Word. you need to insert <p> tags whenever you wish to start a new paragraph. like #13 said <br> tags are also useful. |

I found CaughtNaked's guide particularly useful. Using BR.com's very handy file uploading system, you can make decent BRs with no prob using just those basics.
NO, don't give up plz, this is the type of stuff, flashier reports aside, that keeps this site chuggin. Whatever others may say, I say that as long as we can get reports from new reporters who are serious about their work, this site is still viable. |
