I discovered the hard way too - Put the bgcolor in the table tag, not the body tag.

Seriously use Fileread. It makes for changing your BR into the way you want it MUCH easier.

Kudos for making such a huge report, I know I'd get bored within the first week.
That being said, reading the report was a pain in the ass. I dunno if its a general opinion that bigger is better, but I for one like the shorter, immediately entertaining kind.
Your writing is somewhat shabby, it looks like you wrote it in a hurry and never checked to see if it flows particulalrly well, because it really doesn't. I picked a random line that I had to read a few times before I knew wtf was going on:
"Then an awesome duel that lasted for quite some time but never finished by a death of either of the two combatants, began and lasted for quite some time."

Avoid using the same word twice in the same sentence, and for gods sake read it out loud to yourself.
Moving on; the graphics are okay, but the huge amounts of text are a downright pain. Leave the battle descriptions in the main text, please. Also, I could do without huge update pics crashing through my phone line.
Apparently I don't share these opinion with that many, since people are judging this to be either a 9 or a 10.
I'd give it 8 or maybe a small 9. It's all about style yo -.- |

Sorry Giga, but I have to agree with Ling here. No offense, but I believed your previous works were much better than this (maybe b/c there's less detail in 1v1's?) As Ling has pointed out, I really wasn't that impressed with your writing style here, as the long paragraphs and pics/collages became annoying very quickly.

Imo, you don't always have to give exact details during a BR.
For example, if you look at Mindthief's (latest? not sure on that) war3 report, while very good, it was plagued with updates/troop counts/etc. This just helps offset the overall "flow" of the report, as the reader is forced to leave the action and read (imo boring) statistics/numbers. If there is a fast series of counter attacks for instance, do not stall and give facts but instead present the action fast, as it happened. You will find that this will greatly improve the overall feel of the report.
Your pics were ok, maybe some editing/better choosing (as some weren't very clear) but overall good.
In conclusion, excellent effort. If you keep in mind the constructive criticism people offer it will only help you to become a better author. Keep at it.

2. In your "last stand", (& in another place, too, I think), the text was in white, so you had to select it to see it. =<

Hmm... a good report NecroGiga... I guess that MuLepton's battle reports have done a big impression on you, because his writing style is partly reflected in your BR also...
...though, I think that you would profit from going your own way and not looking to much on what MuLepton does, because sometimes you have some lines that are very MuLepton:esque and that will cause the reader to compare your BR with some of MuLepton's reports...
So it is good that you try to follow all the advices from the readers, but remember that it is you who is the writer, so in the end let the report be your own to 100%...
