First, you should have put both parts in one.
I think you tried hard, did some nice things graphically and story wise, but I didn't like it. The turn by turn descriptions of the individual mechs was too drawn out for me. It just got too long and boring to really follow the game.
I'm rating on my own enjoyment, so you're getting a seven from me. I cant go any lower with the amount of effort you showed, but for me it just didint 'work'. |

Oh, and the inner sphere folks should really have been shotting the elementals, they're not terribly hard to kill and a full point's 15 damage attack on the punch table is really nasty if they manage to swarm |

#20 I believe that Hercs were also in Earthsiege and Starsiege.

Good, but i think it could have done with a little more work and maybe a bigger battle, Preferably post Smoke Jaguar, Tau gallexy using IS tactics. ^^
Story wise, the Nova Cats would have turned and reported back to base as soon as they saw the Centurian with 3 other mechs. If they couldn't they deffinatly wouldn't have given up range advantage of a gauss and ERPPC's, elementals or not. Also, why didn't the Elementals rip out the cockpits the first time they engaged the mechs?
What year was this BTW? I assume it was either before they relocated to the Combine or shortly after in the St Ives campaign.

KK, a few points:
The elementals didnt rip out the cockpits the first time they engaged the 'Mechs because I didn't feel like risking the high to-hit for swarm attacks.
They gave up the range because the map was tiny anyway :P
The only BT books I've read are the Blood Of Kerensky trilogy and Illusions of Victory, but I have a decent idea of how things work from random sources. But I don't know too many of the tiny details on the individual clans.
The BR was set in year 3052 or so, before Tukayyid... It wasn't truly intended to be canon, and if it was it was a happy accident :P |
